Pra quem é fã de KOF ou somente de jogos de luta, é bom. Mesmo num computador sem muitos recursos, ele roda a uma velocidade decente. Um ponto fraco talvez seja que ele é mais fácil do que os anteriores.

I first heard of Skullgirls because of the Internet buzz around it. When it was offered for free for a limited time, I went and grabbed it to check for myself, and I wasn't disappointed: it's a fun little game that plays a lot like the Marvel vs. Capcom series, making it quite easy to pick up and play. Also, while the 30s cinema style may seem a little quaint, especially when blended with the anime-style character design, it works pretty well for the game, giving it an unique look and feel, with a well-executed soundtrack and lively, very well animated characters.

Speaking of the characters, they are another strong point of the game: each of them has their unique style to them - even Fukua has more to her than being just a palette swap of Filia (in fact, I think the designers wanted to poke fun at this very concept when they made her). It's also funny how some of them get to be funny and rather macabre at times, from the fact that Ms. Fortune can chop off any part of her body at will to the final boss Marie (the titular Skullgirl) herself, who is basically an otherworldly abomination in a maid dress - skeletal vacuum cleaner and everything. And as said before, they all are so well animated you sometimes think of all the hard work the animators went through, like say with Peacock, who not only is a living cartoon, but also has those eyes on her arms that blink independently. It's astonishing.

Anyway, if you're a fan of fighting games looking to get out of your Capcom/Namco/SNK comfort zone, give Skullgirls a try. Or even if you're not that good at fighting games, but appreciate them, try this game. It's an easy game, both to pick up and play and to beat. Take it from me, I'm not an expert player but:
* I got to Marie on an undefeated streak;
* It took me only three tries to beat her (meaning she's not Rugal by a longshot); and
* Both times I lost, I lost REALLY narrowly.

The only time I really had trouble with her was when I was trying to beat the game with Painwheel, but then again it's more a matter of mastering her play style.

Anyway, some of you Justin Wongs and Daigo Umeharas out there may be turned off by the comparatively low difficulty, but everything else about this game makes it a pretty solid experience. I rate it 9/10 basically because of the difficulty (I don't feel it to be a downside, but like I said, some people may think so).
