If you're a fan of XCOM: Enemy Unknown and it's expansion Enemy Within, you will most likely love this game too!

XCOM 2 improves on the original mechanics while adding in some new ones, such as Concealment which can change how you build your soldiers, what types of squads you run together, do you want to be sneaky and stay concealed for as long as possible or go guns blazing, slaying Advent? The choice is yours and both work well.

Another change from Enemy Unknown is how the maps are generated, while the maps were the same with Unknown, they are now different 'parcels' added to eachother to let each map feel different, if you end up playing as long as I have - you come to recognise the parcels, but sometimes get surprised with new ones.

The content DLC in my opinion is also great. The expansion, War of the Chosen adds so much more content to the game with the Chosen, the new classes, new missions, new enemy types and how each chosen can have different combinations of strengths and weaknesses on top of that!

Experimenting with mods on top of all this, you have a game you could probably never get tired of playing - so many more ways of making the game more difficult (or easier) and adding extra enemies, missions, weapons.. the list goes on.

If you're a fan of XCOM: Enemy Unknown or games like that, I would 100% recommend picking up XCOM 2
