Baldur's Gate III
The game is incredibly vast and diverse, both in terms of dialogues and combat. It's one of those games where you don't hoard consumables until the end but start using them by the mid-game. Some enemies dealt so much damage that healing became absolutely necessary. This is great because it makes consumables actually useful. The dialogues are also rich with opportunities to learn interesting things, including the motivations of each character, which adds depth and individuality to them.

1. Combat
1.1 Consumables
This can be compared to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, where on the hardest difficulty, you find yourself using potions, fully exploring the world, and employing more than just Quen and Igni against enemies. Why do you want to use consumables here? Because it feels like a significant advantage, not just a mere +2 to damage, but something substantial, like a +10% damage boost to your silver sword that already deals 150-200 damage. This gives a noticeable increase in power. If you enhance it further, you can get a +25% damage boost with the oil.
In Baldur's Gate III, this works with arrows and poison on weapons. You can stun enemies using poison or increase arrow damage from 7-10 to 7-20, with area-of-effect damage. In some situations, this can be extremely helpful!
1.2 Superiority Dice and Spell Slots
This is a rather interesting topic because the game features a system of maneuvers that are activated using charges. Let's say you have a basic attack that deals 8-10 damage. Thanks to the warrior warrior class, you can gain Superiority Dice, which are needed to perform special maneuvers: a frightening attack, a disarming strike, or even a trip attack that makes the enemy fall. In addition to these effects, you also deal around 8-25 damage.
You might wonder, why use a basic attack? Remember the charges? You only have 4 dice, and each one is consumed when you hit (if you miss, the die isn't used). They are replenished with a short rest. This encourages you to use them in specific situations since you only have 2 short rests before needing a long rest that consumes food.
Conclusion on Combat
The combat system in this game is really well-crafted, providing a lot of satisfaction, which is rare to find in games. It might be difficult for the first 1, 2, or 15 encounters—everyone experiences it differently—but this doesn't make the game any less enjoyable. Players who take the time to learn the mechanics will be happy to spend hours studying and finding the best builds for their characters, enjoying the game without difficulty. Others might want to make the game more challenging. It's great that there are so many options just for combat alone!

2. Dialogues
2.1 Dialogue Choice System
The dialogues in this game are among the few in games where choices actually matter. This is often reserved for cinematic games and occasionally RPGs. Here, the game constantly offers you choices in dialogue. Let's break it down with an imagined example: you have a dialogue with a character you helped. He thanks you and asks for further help in killing someone dear to you because he believes that person is a liar. You can choose to kill him, try to negotiate with both sides, or kill your friend. The outcome is also influenced by the randomness of the dice roll.
2.2 Dice Rolls and Randomness
The dice represent randomness in the game, borrowed from the tabletop RPG Dungeons & Dragons. Let's analyze the mechanic using the previous example. You've decided not to kill but to negotiate. The character agrees and demands 250 gold. You can intimidate him into not taking money from your character, or else you'll kill him. Here, the dice roll comes into play. To intimidate, you need to roll a 15. If you roll lower, he'll attack; if you roll higher, he won't bother you, and you can leave peacefully. This is where character attributes come into play.
2.3 Character Attributes
The stronger your attributes, the more effective they are. For example, if you're playing as an orc with a massive axe and high strength, intimidating someone will be easy. However, convincing someone will be harder since your charisma is low, meaning the dice roll will have a penalty of -1, -2, -3, etc. This is a fascinating system rarely found in video games.
Conclusion on Dialogues
Some people might not enjoy long dialogues and this system, getting frustrated because the dice often determine the outcome. On the other hand, you can see it this way: the story unfolds before you, and reloading the last save isn't necessary. Let the dice decide. If you roll low and have to fight, then let the game go that way. After all, the game shouldn't just bend to your will. This is a really interesting mechanic that is lacking in modern games.

3. Story
Here, you can craft your own story, as I mentioned earlier, thanks to the dice. Want to kill everyone and become a bloodthirsty murderer? Go ahead. Or you can be a sweet, helpful character who rarely fights. Or mix it up—befriend those you like, and bring Ragnarök to your enemies. This makes the story truly engaging.Especially playing with Gale to blow up the orb in second act and kill everyone in your area.

Conclusion
In summary, Baldur's Gate III is one of the best games you'll often want to return to. Unfortunately, such games are rare nowadays due to investors, but there's nothing we can do about it. So it's worth enjoying these masterpieces like Baldur's Gate III while we can.
