A great AA-inspired game with it's own unique charm.

A great added story for "Joryu," I first thought they just can't help but bring him back just for the $, but they ended up creating a pretty solid story continuation. The ending is great for his character, and I look forward to seeing full closure on his life path, the mans deserves some happiness.

So, here I am, after vocing the problems about the content and prices for the game, only to end up being locked and "reported" because I was providing facts about previous DLC and the past and future of gaming, and how this game is just being greedy.

So, yes, I have a low amount of hours, but I have played a good amount on my friends account, and watched many hours of streams. I'd say I've actually played around 20 hours or so.

I'll say this right now, this is MY opinion, im no pro reviewer, I am just a gamer who has played many games and saw the progress of them for over 18 years.

So, down to it.

Pros:
+ Beautiful graphics
+ Awesome tracking
+ Two huge maps
+ Wonderful sound effects
+ Fun luring/ stalking mechanics
+ Animal reactions to your presence is great, feels really realistic
+ Love the gun designs
+ Missions keep you interested and invested
+ Easy to learn
+ One of the best hunting games in awhile

I can't think of any more at the moment, feel free to add on
Now the Cons

Cons:
- Few animals to hunt (there are only 8, not counting the different varieties)
- Getting to a specific point in the map is a long haul on foot
- Tracks can somtimes be inaccurate
- Guns can be inaccurate
- Sometimes an animal will notice me from insane distance even when I never make a sound, am crouched, and wind is blowing the opposite way
- DLC that should be added in for free cost a good amount (made a post about it, ten minutes later it got locked and apparently I was reported, feel free to go take a look, I provided points that the game would still make a good amount with free content updates)
- Community can be downright toxic (say anything bad about the game, be prepared.)
- the location exploration (?) are lackluster, just feels forced there to provide some sort of accomplishment
- The missions, while provide something to do other than hunting, can be repetitive and rather boring at times
- Takes advantage of fans of this genre, again, pointing out the DLC
- There are times when I'd walk for over 30 minutes or so without finding any tracks, just barren emptiness
- Animals shot legit dissapear, one time I fatally wounded a deer, started tracking it, then the tracks went dead, spent 20 minutes searching the area for the body for no avail

Again, feel free to add on in the comments.
As of now I can't recommend, I really enjoy it, but as of now, I'd say wait a bit so see how far the game goes. *crosses fingers that all animal/map future content won't be priced*

EDIT: I'd like to throw in that I was just banned from the community for a day for voicing my opinion and "cussing"

Yet many people cuss and don't get banned if it's for and against people who don't like the game for reasons. I didn't know that hearts blocking cuss words aren't allowed, unless it's to attack the people who have legit concerns.

Also, I respectfully replied to the people who weren't being respectful to me, I've added cuss words, but not at someone. The guy that called me a snowflake troll who said he reported me because I was providing points though, he's fine.

"Respect is the name of the game. Respect your fellow members. Please refrain from inflammatory and defamatory comments as well as flaming, taunting, harassing, threatening, embarrassing, and general disrespect. Do not simply put down the opinion or advice given by others. If you don't agree with it, point out why - respectfully."

I did not do that, though they did it to me, they did not point out why respectfully to boot, just goes to show the mods are favorting posts for the game instead of being nuetral.

Ok, so this game is fun, don't get me wrong, but things are starting to go down hill. Before I start, I would just want to say that I do not care if it "was" going to be F2P or not, but the way things are, it is time I stated my opinion.

H1Z1 is a zombie survival (man vs man slaughter at times) and it had lots of potential, but sadly, I can see things going wrong this point on. H1Z1 recently split between two parts of the game, I mean, it wouldn't be a big problem if the fact that the prices are doubled between both parts, while the content that was being supplied was supposed to be part of a whole game, for the price they said it would be. Before you fanboys start shooting complete aids comments at me, let me just say this is MY opinion, and I think this game has moved into a direction I wouldn't want to be apart of. Let me go over the pros/cons.

Pros+
+ lots of freedom on how you want to play
+ looting, who doesnt love looting? I always get excited when I find awesome gear
+ good gunplay, it's not the best, but way better than others out there
+ graphics are pretty well done, nice to look at
+ really fun to play with friends
+ building bases, keeping up food/water stock can be fun for some
+ eventful, I've come across some really funny events that happend

Cons-
- hackers
- asshats (it's a given though)
- hard to start out, might turn some players off
- zombies can sometimes glitch, I died by an invisable one before
- spawn killers/ nude killers (countless times I stopped playing after getting killed 10 secs in 7 times in a row)
- without a gun, your pretty much dead
- low amout of PvE servers, for those who wanna chill in them

This game can be undoubtfully fun, though I am sad to say that I can not recommend it until they get everything in the game, and sorted out. Sure, the split wouldn't bother be as much if it were the same price, sure I get both for free, but what about new players? Lets not forget, since pvp is splitting from pve, it might take the fun out of sandboxing for me. I love the PvP+PvE, but I am worried they could not be together now. Either way, until everything is sorted out, my opinion will stand to a No, it is not worth to get at the moment. Wait it out if you are on the fence, since this roadtrip down to zombie land is not finished yet.
