A good game, with solid core foundations and mechanics though is bogged down by its frequent issues and crashes.

While I still have a good time on this game, being able to play for anywhere between 30 to 60 minutes without problems, I understand this is a deal breaker for many others.

If you're looking for a solid, streamlined and relatively bug-free experience, I'd say wait until the developers address some more bugs and issues.

I will change my review in time if this changes.

Only a select few games can move me to tears, and I'm proud enough to add this game to the list.

Incredible atmosphere, depth of characters, a deep feeling of isolation and a chilling story. This is how game development should be done.

One of the best, and fun crime solving games out there right now, depicting accurate historic standings and events. Great job of Rockstar.

The games provided by this creator have always touched on something deeper than simply surface. TWoM, and now Frostpunk. To each game their own setting and misery intertwined deeply in the story. Excellent narrative, and an easy-to-use interface make these games exceptional and remarkable as to what's usually referred to as "content" in most triple-A games.

This game receives a solid 10 in my book.

By all means, this is not a bad game.

Level design is good, but when it comes to game mechanics, I feel it's been a shoddy and half-done job. Confusing levels, such as the massive turret level, in which I died nothing short of 15 times, and the laser gates thing. No explanation, no handholding, nothing. You're left to your own devices. More than once have I had to look up a walkthrough on Youtube, which allowed me to watch players be just as confused as I am, and get through it by glitching.

And yes, this game is hilariously easy to glitch in certain parts, forcing you to reload or kill yourself, which is essentially the same thing.

Despite all it's pretty bells and whistles, the resemblance stops there. Just bells. Just whistles. Nothing else.

Early Access Review
So allow me to start off this review with the obvious;

The game is in an early alpha access build, yes. But this game is also developed by one person, which commends my respect. It requires a great deal of dedication to do this alone.

So what does this game have to offer?

First of all, the building mechanics, albeit different, feel the same as in popular games like Evil Genius. Despite being a front to create a disease, the gimmick feels very much the same, which is a positive feat.

The game in its current state has enough content to keep you interested for a few hours in one sitting, with plenty of time to see what works for you. For me, that is trying to make floors departments, which is tricky to manage with limited money, but a fun challenge.

All in all, this gets my approval, and I can't wait to see what the developer will still produce.

Contagion, the much anticipated successor of the widely known Free To Play mod Zombie Panic: Source for Half Life 2.

Contagion has been a major step forward from where Zombie Panic left off, and the developers of Zombie Panic and subsequently Contagion have made major strides towards improving this game.

The developers have since made a move to adding some of the more prominent maps featured on Zombie Panic Source to Contagion, with the biggest example being the wildly popular Harvest.

While I personally find some of these maps lacking in length on the Escape gamemode, they make up for the intensity and zombie population.

The game is compelling, through the means of scarce weaponry and ammunition, and the hardiness of zombies, with the popular "headshot is the only way" theory.

This game gets a solid 8 out of 10 in my book. Keep on gettin' em devs!

Alien: Isolation is the first of the Alien series I play(ed), however for as far as I'm aware, besides the backstory, everything across the game is pretty linear and straight forward.

The game introduces a wide array of aspects to take into consideration, taken into mind that every situation is different. The size of the station has blown me away, and mostly the lack of loading screens every 5 minutes, while levels retain its very big size with almost no FPS drop on the best settings. This game is greatly optimised, however, I'm not sure how lesser-computers deal with this game, as I've got a rig worth of $2300

Regardless, the game itself surprised me by introducing some known aspects, and some completely unknown aspects.

I'm glad to see that hiding has been a universal aspect of the game, both in terms of animation (E key), or just diving under the nearest table. The unknown aspect was that you cannot kill the Alien, which was a pleasant surprise. This game introduces killable and unkillable enemies, and that is what makes this game, even from the start without alien, a tense and utmost enjoying game.

I've only got 3 hours logged as of this writing, but I can already say that this game deserves its metascore above anything, and should have received a better score in my own opinion.

My own view on this game for you people out there is, if you enjoy the fact of killing, but also being able to be killed by something YOU can't kill, and something that will hunt you down relentlessly making for a game that's tense from the start out, right to what I can only believe being the end, this is definitely a game for you.

Final rating: 9.5/10
Pro's: Diverse gameplay, great optimisation, great gameplay
Cons: Alien becomes more annoying than dangerous over time being.

Early Access Review
While Nether leaves much to desire in regards to solid world objects, that you can now walk through here, and the problem of cheaters and hackers, I find this an admirable game, due to the setting, environment and enemies. This game puts me more on edge than DayZ, and the player issue is much, much more in DayZ, than Nether.

Regardless of the Cheaters, and non-solid objects, I find this a very good game, due to its mechanics, weapons and interaction with the world.

Highly recommended.

PAYDAY 2 has got a completely different dynamics system, than to its counterpart. They have completely redesigned the Stealth factors, and it has been updated quite a few times.

I have got to say, this game has kept me more busy than its counterpart. The game is much more elaborate, requires tactics and training, and planning. It all comes down to planning.

Furthermore, we've got the skill trees, in which you can freely spend points in, upon leveling up. Another much requested feature, that OVERKILL, STARBREEZE, has obliged in making. These skill trees range from being a stealth master, to the one that breaches doors open with no questions asked.

The Skill Trees are elaborate, and cover most of what the game requests of you.

They have added a new heist recently, called Armored Transport, and is by far the most rewarding contract so far known, if done right.

My view on this game, is that it could still be updated to the players' wish, but not be taken away from any of it. So far, these are all the points I came across.

Pro's:
+Varied weapons system
+Weapon Attachments, edit your gun like you want it to.
+Mask buying, customization.
+Assets.
+Developers interacting with the playerbase.

Cons:
-Extra weapons need to be bought as a DLC.
-Bulldozers can be overpowered.

All in all, this game receives a good 7.5 in my book, and I definitely recommend buying it, if you'd enjoy a good, tactical, FPS.
