allright so a quick first impressions review, I booted it up tonight and as of right now put in 2 1/2 hours
thus far I have primarily been using Clozemaster and watching stuff in spanish as my primary way to study

as far as a learning game, its great, it does a fantastic job of giving you as much help as you need to understand the dialogue each character presents, the combat system so far is fun and a few times I found myself wondering around an area with respawning enemies to get a few more battles in for the extra practice just because I like drilling information the only thing in regards to that I might add would be the possibility of a training dummy npc in each town the player could endlessly engage in battle for extra practice but with enemies that can respawn it might be kind of moot

the dialogue with the npc characters I think is particularly well designed in that it forces you to recall words and phrases you have learned when deciding what to say to the characters you encounter which really reinforces the biggest weakness of how I have been learning and gives me that extra push with output that I've been needing

overall I think this is a great way to learn a language, I dont have the dlc yet but I will probably end up picking that up after I complete my first run of the game on beginner

currently I plan on using runs of this game along with how I'm studying spanish currently untill I can understand every line of dialogue without having to translate either in game or in my head and I will update this review as I play if any of my thoughts change or as I discover new things

I have had caves of qud for a long time now and after putting about 50 hours into it set it aside to wait for the 1.0 release and now that its out I'm going to be playing this game again and really diving in deep to see the rest of the story, its a difficult game but nothing is really " unfair " everything has a way to deal with it when you figure out how and if your the type of player that really likes to theory craft and find overpowered builds the way the two character types work in this game are perfect for that

instant buy from me, this game has quickly become one of my favorites and I set it aside while I waited for the 1.0 release to come out now I'm ready to dive back in and sink some real time into figuring out its crazy systems, the pets are a nice touch that can add some real crazy situations to your game ( a buddy of mine shared some pet codes to me so I could try them ) they can be just as dangerous as they are helpful, I cant tell you how many times I have gotten killed by a pet I brought with me, but at the same time they have also helped me get past some areas that I would have struggled with otherwise

one of the best music creation apps for vr that I have found ( steam playtime is inaccurate, I run it through a different vr runtime and steam doesnt track my time ) after dozens of hours I can strongly recommend this, hit detection can take a little getting used to but even with the newer music making software nothing else gives quite the same level of freedom, I can only hope this review brings more people to the game and maby, if I'm lucky enough , will bring the dev back and renew his interest in working on the project ( or at the very least fixing things up a little so that it requires less tinkering to get it going )

probably one of the best ways to learn a language I can think of, interacting with the objects I'm learning the names of makes them a breeze to remember and doing a thing like watching something, or waiting, or removing things from a basket ect ect while learning the verb is perfect for cementing it into memory, and with all the things that are planning on being added and worked on the future of this game is looking fantastic I believe 100% this kind of thing is going to be the future of vr learning strongly recommend for anyone interested in languages

I dont normally play online not because its not fun but because I've been trying to make a really good deck and farm coins off the ai but I've really been enjoying myself while playing this

A very fun physics based music sandbox of sorts, if your a fan of music and like the animusic series this game is a must

this game was gifted to me, I had been holding onto it for quite a while because normally I play strategy and rpg games but I figured why the hell not tonight a good ol devil may cry style hack'n'slash might just do the trick I didnt think anything of the reviews because well.......its a hack and slash they are simple and easy to put together and its hard to go wrong with them

I was f****** mistaken this game is garbage, neither of your weapons cause any kind of staggering, ♥♥♥♥ just keeps on attacking like nothing happened the game hardly even has any kind of animation showing that you hurt what you were attacking

its also worth pointing out I had to restart the game three times due to a glitch during the tutorial, when jumping over that first gap I would constantly fall waist deep into the floor and become stuck

after looking through the forums and seeing that the developers no longer plan on supporting or continuing updates with this product....I unfortunately have to not reccomend this, I really like chess, and the idea of this game seemed amazing so I gave it a shot played it for a little bit a long while back against ai to get a hang of the army I wanted to play unfortunately the ai is nothing but a punching bag it can litteraly be beaten just by making moves at random with no thought involved and trying to find an online match is nearly impossible you can however get matches occasionally through correspondence mode if your willing to play a game over the course of a few days but I am hard pressed to reccomend this game
