Alright, so I have played Smite for a little bit of time now and have come to some sounds pros and cons when it comes to Hi-Rez (the game's developers) and Smite itself. This review is somewhat biased because I am a huge fan of the game, but I think my dedication to it gives me some grounds to say what is good and what is bad about it.

*PROS*
-Smite's community is thriving and thanks to multi-queue, getting into a game is now faster than ever.
-Smite's 3rd person camera positioning makes it one of the MOST immersive MOBA experiences out there.
-The gods in the game are easy to understand (most of the time) and their abilities are fairly diverse.
-There are only 5 consistent game modes to chose from and the maps are the same every time, but each game feels fresh and a Mode of the Day offers up an interesting look at a new way to play.
-There are regular updates to the game and new gods are being added constantly.
-The grind for new gods and skins is satisfying and rewarding enough to make you want to keep playing.

There are plenty of other things I could say about the game that I believe are done well, but the ones above are the most prevalent ones that I have come across since I started playing. Now, the cons are not meant to discourage you from playing the game, but are just there as a way to prepare you for some possible frustration in the future!

*CONS*
-No matter how good your computer or internet is, Smite will still crash for no apparent reason. This is only on occasion and normally will not ruin an entire game.
-Smite can feel like a chore at times, especially trying to get all the First Win of the Day gold and that's why I recommend playing with friends.
-In the current meta, early game seems to be very important and, all too often, a deciding factor for a game. Hi-Rez has been working on fixing this, but still nothing has really changed.
-Hi-Rez also has a lot of kinks to still work out in the game and their servers go down at some of the most inconvenient times.

*CONCLUSION*
Smite is certainly a game for the MOBA lover and will have you hooked from the tutorial! It's immersive gameplay and interesting gods offer a wide variety of games and outcomes. The grind will keep you coming back for more and friends will certainly keep you into the game for longer. Hi-Rez has given a lot of love to this game and with it's commuity being as strong as it is, I know Smite will be around for a long time.

One of the most addictiing FPS's that I have ever played! With millions of weapons, mods and quirky phrases; this game surpasses all of its competitors!

What's not to like about this game? It's so in-depth in the manner that it creates one of the most fun games that you could possibly play, without having a story line. Everything about this game screams absurdity and with its vast variety of weapons and hats, I guarantee you, diversity will not be lacking. If I had to describe this game in one word, it would be "Brilliant!"
