At first I was turned off by the change in graphics from the first game, but I took the plunge anyway and absolutely fell in love with this game. It's a perfect sequel and the constant updates is wonderful. This is how more games should be, fully finished by release with added content and constant dev support post release. Too many games these days are unfinished and abandoned.

Compared to the first game, I feel like the varying level of difficulties are balanced and appropriate. I have successfully completed the game many times, it can be a challange, but not impossible. I hope they add in some winter tundra areas in a future update.

I remember playing Henry Stickmin years ago on those free game sites. This series was by far one of my favorites. I really enjoyed playing an updated version of the game and I would highly recommend this game to anyone. I hope that the devs would consider making more games like this, and I would buy them in a heartbeat.

This game made me want to throw up. That's all I have to say.

Actually I'll say a little more:
Daedalic Games is a pretty good company that makes point and click games. While most of them are a little too text heavy and tedious, they are over all great games that are bringing back the point and click gaming era .
Journey of a Roach however, is not a very good game. While the story line and game play are very innovative, actually playing the game is a different story.
Since you are a roach, you can't talk and can climb on walls. After playing only 30 mins, I can still tell you that both of those points are a big issue.
1. They use pictures instead of words as a guide.
This is a problem just because i got very confused, very often.
2. Climbing on walls.
This would have been a cool feature if only the camera didn't get in the way. (Oh, that dreaded camera! You always have to ruin games for me...) Since the game was way too linear, the camera turned everytime you walked on the wals or ceiling to keep the prospective the same, but all it did was make me want to barf. That is literally the only reason I stoped playing the game. Games should make you queasy. Period.

Early Access Review
This game is imcomplete, that's a given. But does it make it a terrible game? Not by a long shot. Backstage Pass is a very good visual novel/simulater type game. Is it worth $29.99? Maybe not now, but when it's officially released, it could be.
I play a lot of visual novel like games and I have to say, this is definitely at the top of my list. It has beautiful artwork, and interesting storyline, and plenty of multiple endings. I especially like making cupcakes in the game! ^-^
Backstage Pass had definite potential of being an awesome game worthy of it's price, but if you don't like playing beta games, don't buy it just yet.

Best Game Ever!
I have never played such a creative game in all my life. It was witty and well written and the singing, while off key, made the gaming experience.
I am not one to play a lot of action games, so a casual game like Dominique Pamplemousse is a great. I love quirky off beat musicals, especially tv show musicals, and this game hits it right on the mark. I really hope Deidra makes another game just as fantastic as this one.
