💙Ori and the Blind Forest vypráví příběh umírajícího lesa a sirotka, který teprve hledá svoje místo na světě. Snaží se vidět to dobré i ve špatných časech a ukazuje cestu laskavosti. Je naivní? Ano. V podstatě i obyčejný. Je to protipól k cynickému, nejednoznačnému světu, který lásku a obětování vnímá jako slabost. I z toho důvodu se snadno dostane pod kůži.
Ale nebudeme si lhát do kapsy: lví podíl na tom má i ručně kreslená grafika a orchestrální soundtrack, bez nichž by prožitek nebyl takový. Tvůrci si zároveň osvojili vypravěčské postupy z animovaných filmů devadesátých let, které aplikovali na 2D hru. Jednotlivé prvky skládačky nejsou originální, ale když se spojí, fungují jedinečným způsobem. Ostatně představu si můžete udělat i díky videu u článku.

Ori je zpočátku slabý a kromě chůze neumí vůbec nic. Je rád, že přežil. Teprve v průběhu hraní si osvojuje nové schopnosti (je jich devět), například plachtění na pírku, lezení po zdi či dvojitý skok. Základem je ovšem skákání a útok bludičky, která Oriho následuje. Hra si ovšem vypůjčuje i prvky z her na hrdiny, kdy umožní
vlastnosti postavy a naučené dovednosti ještě dále rozvíjet. Například Oriho naučí dýchat i pod vodou.💙

Is he naive? Yes. Basically ordinary. It is the opposite of a cynical, ambiguous world that perceives love and sacrifice as a weakness. Even for this reason, it easily gets under the skin.
But we will not lie in our pockets: the lion's share of hand-drawn graphics and orchestral soundtrack, without which the experience would not be like that. At the same time, the creators learned the narrative techniques from the animated films of the 1990s, which they applied to a 2D game. The individual elements of the puzzle are not original, but when combined, they work in a unique way. After all, you can also get an idea thanks to the video next to the article.

Ori is weak at first and can't do anything except walk. He's glad he survived. Only during the game does he acquire new skills (there are nine of them), such as sailing on a feather, climbing a wall or a double jump. The basis, however, is the jumping and attacking of the maze that follows Ori. However, the game also borrows elements from role-playing games, when it allows
character characteristics and learned skills to develop even further. For example, he will teach Ori to breathe underwater.💙
