So here is my personal review of this game:
I will briefly list the pros, cons, some questionable choices made by the developers, suggestions for future developments and conclusions;

Pros:
-Free to play
-Easy to learn (10 minute tutorial time and you are ready to play)
-Fun to play with friends
-variety of playable characters (it's just aesthetics, there are no skill differences between the characters)
-Variety of in-game emotes (unlockable by leveling up)
- recolors for characters (unlockable by leveling up)
-Variety of maps (24 maps)
-graphically pleasing
-Simple and intuitive menus
-Variety of death animations (seeing is believing)
-addicted game

Against:
-Price of the skins a little too high (justified by the fact that it is free to play, see next point)
-character models a little too similar to each other (it's the same model with various reskins and gender changes, they aren't very different from each other hence the price of the skins a little too high)
- movement system a little slow, improvable but still a little immature
-Close-up view not very useful during gameplay
-Few game modes (single, multi player with rooms divided by regions, custom creation/research)
-Few colors available (for now only 4 for each character)
-Connection problems (sometimes it happens that you randomly disconnect, just restart the game and it fixes itself for a while
-Little variety in achievements


-Questionable choices for developers

The races are divided into rounds, but the only strategy to win is the following: complete all the maps in the pre-established time (so as not to be eliminated) and arrive first only at the last map (final round). The completion times of each individual map will not be taken into consideration.

Suggestions Future developments:

-Maybe add a challenge mode with all maps or sub sets of them or both
-more achievements (maybe one per completed map)
-Put new obstacles and new maps (always related to lasers and not just laser beams)
-Timed map mode with related rewards (single player)
-Put in new recolors and new characters
-Put a Mario Maker-like map editor
-Improve the characters and customize them graphically, especially the paid ones
-(optional) add some spicy and crunchy options to make the game more spicy (ok horny mode: off)

Conclusions:
To try? Yes
Game time? a couple of gaming sessions with friends (approximately 2/5 hours)
I don't understand the average reviews, in fact it's a good start for a free to play game, I've seen worse paid things, it can certainly be improved, but as a game it's okay.

Please don't abandon it and develop it as it could probably become a viral game like lethal company or maybe not, depends on you devs. Move it! :D
