it's aight

jokes aside, i saw a review that said that by buying aseprite from their website directly you can get it drm free. while i would support anyone to buy this software directly from their website to avoid giving 25% of it to steam because the devs clearly deserve the money, i feel like i should clear this up and give proper kudos to the devs.

the steam version is already drm free. you can just use the .exe directly and you don't ever have to interface with steam if you'd like. you don't ever have to be online or anything to use aseprite even if you buy it on steam.

could you imagine making a software that's this good, selling it for such a reasonable price, supporting it for years for free, not asking for a subscription like some other ~bloatware~ and not even having a drm?? that's just amazing
