This game is so addicting wtf man I've played this game for 8 hours straight

I played this game for about 5 years now, and when I started playing it was a buggy mess that was very slowly getting better.

This week I booted it up for the first time in a year and found this new "1896" update took all the work that was done on the game previously and threw it in the bin. Basically every part of the Hunt experience that was flushed out and good to go got reworked, which made the bugs I experienced 5 years ago come back. Not only did I get an insane amount of bugs because of this update, but I went from having 70-110 FPS to now having 40-50 FPS. So many parts of Hunt did not need updating and were perfectly serviceable for what they were.

Now, people are begging for the game to be rolled back to its pre-1896 state, and because these developers are and always have been completely incompetent, they'll insist on continuing on with this objectively poor experience, locking countless players out of their game because of the performance and countless more quitting because it's just not worth the hassle anymore.

An amazingly simple game that brings the core of distrust out of people.

2023 Me: Dear god, I sure was cringe. Anyway, still can't wait for that. CS2 is pretty ♥♥♥♥ now, but it's still the definitive FPS game. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us as a community and for me as a player!

2024 Me: This may just be the single most important thing to me in life. The offshoot communities that come from CS2 are the most amazing people. Specifically shout out to all the players in Impact, they're all awesome girls!
