This review, so far, is based on my experience in the Special Story mode.
The other things in this game don't set it apart from its predecessors, so it makes the most sense to judge the game only based on the new Story and the gameplay changes.

I absolutely love the new characters and the scenario presented in the new story, and definitely felt a lot of emotions playing through it (in a good way, it's a very touching story). The new story is mostly Boruto-centric, but there's quite a bit of Naruto and Sasuke stuff in it, too. I really enjoyed just about everything about it, and it felt like there was so much to it that it could have even made a compelling movie. Now, I don't always love games that feel like movies, but because I was already invested in a lot of the characters, it made it more approachable for me.

People review-bombing this game with negativity are mostly complaining about things we already knew about, such as the launch having an incomplete online experience, or the game being built upon STORM 4's engine (with some enhancements such as the updated particle system and gameplay adjustments). It doesn't make sense to me to buy a game knowing these things going in (they're not really secrets) then complaining about them in a review as if they were a surprise.

I'm happy with the new story, the new characters, and the experience I've had up to now. I'm looking forward to exploring the other modes, unlocking a bunch of costumes, and playing with my friends when that becomes available.

Good to get when it's on sale. Can keep a small friend group entertained in a way that's generally not frustrating.

I don't think the normal price is fair, I wouldn't consider paying $40 for a deck of UNO cards to play with three other people.

A cute and fun game with a lot of feathered friends to meet as you cruise around on the ol' popsicle stick.

This game combines two of my favorite things, driving and music, in a way that is both relaxing and exhilarating. Even lovers of obscure music such as myself can enjoy this title and trying to work towards the #1 score on the global leaderboards. If you love music and want to enjoy your songs in a new way, this might be what you're looking for. This might just be the best way to make your music feel like a roller coaster ride!

Unstable. Poor development in terms of functionality, stability, and game balance.
Expect crashes, fatal errors, disconnects, lag, model issues, map issues, and more.
Game is a trainwreck and has only gotten less stable and functional the more they add content and refuse to fix bugs.

Early Access Review
I've said it before and will continue to until it's no longer true: This is the best game for you to play with your plastic guitar/keyboard/drums on PC. It has been for years now, and now it's here on Steam with a better version than ever before.

The ease at which you can tailor this game to your own needs makes it even better still, allowing for custom themes and even custom songs just like similar projects have and continue to support. For instance, if you like a certain other game and want this game to look like it, it's entirely possible to do so, and if someone's made such a theme, it's as simple as placing a folder in the right place and selecting the newly installed theme from an in-game menu. This type of modular experience in a game like this is vital to its longevity, and I'm grateful for it.

It's a breath of fresh air to see a project like Phase Shift finally make it to Steam, especially when the free version hadn't been updated for a long while and people who weren't active on the forums were left to wonder if the game were dead or what.

I can't say enough good about Phase Shift. If you like these kinds of rhythm games, Phase Shift can't be ignored. I'm glad to support it as a day 1 purchase and will continue to give what feedback I can to see this game improve over time. ♥

CS:GO Review
Valve doing the right thing making an aging game free once again so that more players can enjoy it.
I don't play the game much, but I'm glad to have bought it and to be able to support a company that cares about its customers. Good on you, Valve.

For a mobile game, it's not bad. Allows me to play some fun decks unlike the current TCG format.

I actually quite liked this game... when it worked. The developers refused to fix issues with the game not working on certain home networks. They are now deciding it's fine to shut down the game rather than fix problems with it. I spent money on this game while it was in Early Access and just barely got to even play it because of issues plaguing the game and preventing it from working on my home network, a problem which I'd offered numerous details of to Nexon and they claim the problem is on my end. It's not. I'm not the only one who experienced this problem. How about instead of robbing people blind, give them what they paid for? I didn't pay to play the game once or twice and then for it to be taken offline. Who knows where my money's going now, but I'm not happy.
