Not only was the game a lazy redo of the same tired formula, but I'll never remove this review until Rockstar gets off P2P networking and actually pays for the dedicated servers that they can WELL afford with all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ shark card e-whoring they promote at every possible turn.
There is nothing worse than being disconnected at the end of a mission with two people who just want to play games together as a couple, despite an Open NAT, an Ethernet connection, and modern internet speeds, all because the P2P networking fails.

♥♥♥♥ off, Take Two and Rockstar. Eat ♥♥♥♥♥.

Steps to playing E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy:

1.) Gain Brozoufs.

2.) Ensure legs are ok.

3.) Become cyborg Samurai Jack, dual-wielding a magic sword and an SMG with 2 firing modes consisting of Full-Auto, and Full-Full-Auto, while still accomplishing the above steps.

4.) Buy a .444 Magnum (yes, a .444 caliber-round Magnum), and run around the map at post-Sanic speeds with your undoubtedly maxed-out leg implants.

5.) Grab the true ending after 3 playthroughs, and ponder life as you know it.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

6.) (Optional) Help up to 32 players realize their own true potential within this crazy game enabling you to continue being you .444-touting Sanic Samurai Jack across playthroughs.

All performance issues aside, this is a great example of what a game should be. The first wasn't as polished, but this iteration of NieR, while not a direct sequel (not that it needed one) is much more refined than the first, and should just be experienced by anyone who loves games for their core adventure- without mention of the game's rich story, atmosphere, and overall thought-provoking commentary on what it truly means to be alive.

A manifestation of the best AG Racing has to offer.

Redout is a modern, polished revival of a small, anomalous genre that saw its rise in the '90s with the release of Wip3out in 1995. Since then, there have been a handful of follow-ups, with only another handful of its ilk released since, and of those, most were from the same era of its rise; and Wip3out itself only having seen one large release that wasn't on handhelds since the PS2. There hasn't been a good AG future-racer to fill the gaping hole of the genre in the time between the last release (a good 7 years )...until now.

I will admit, the first time I booted it up, I was still skeptical about the game meeting the high standards childhood nostalgia had placed on a new game supposedly paying direct tribute to the great games of yesteryear that it names. With GRIP's recent Early Access success earlier in the year, I decided that before I make any judgements, I should release give it a few spins- and holy S H I T, was my skepticism unfounded. Boasting uncompromising speed, tough tracks, and rapturous music for the adrenaline-junkie veterans of the genre, the game lives up to exactly what it advertises and more, being gorgeous as all hell, and having a soundtrack that absolutely exceeded my expectations. And even then, they're still updating the game with free content as it comes, which, by the way, had arguably some of the best music, and less arguably, the most stunning racetracks to breathe in during what little time you spend on the track.

In a few words- Don't hesistate on this one if you're even considering it.

P.S. Do your future self a favor and buy the Deluxe Edition for the included OST, too- It comes in both mp3 and lossless formats.

Hard to give this game anything but a thumbs up, especially considering the amount of PC features and options that it has, and the fact that I'm generally not interested in sports games at all. This is one of those games that can really appeal to anyone, and is a shining example of the quality a PC game in 2015 should have.

I've looked for more than a decade
for a spiritual successor to some of my favorite high-octane battle-racing games: Vigilante 8 and Full Auto. If you were too, look no further. Gas Guzzlers eXtreme, though crudely named, has everything those games had and more.

I have to say, in the beginning, I was very skeptical. The game's menu and overall initial attitude made it look as if it just another hastily put together project by a teenager with Unity assets. However, upon actually getting into a game, my view completely changed. Sure, some of the reflections still looked a little overdone and typical of a generic racing game, but that's where any similarites ended between the two. The rest of the game is top indie-quality, by which I mean no condemnation; rather, I say it because it's got more charm and heart put into it than a AAA title of the same name could with the budget the developer had.

They definitely squeezed everything out of the engine they used. Visuals are top-notch, and the game is well-optimized with plenty of options, only lacking borderless windowed support, but not something most independent games have anyways. Plenty of modes (Deathmatch, CTF, Battle-Races, and then just straight-up vanilla racing, with a few explosions added in for good measure) plenty of guns (chainguns, rocket launchers, mortars, and even the legendary railgun from Vigilante 8), and plenty of cars to fill them with (parodied versions of Ford offerings, Pontaics, Mazdas, and even a Lambo), with multiplayer support included, too. I have to say, in my experiences with studios I've never heard of prior to buying a game, only rarely have I ever seen a multiplayer game play so smoothly, much less a racing one. Hardly any issues, besides the fact that the Steamworks invite system doesn't seem to properly work with this title. Even so, the game has enough variety in servers to quickly refer a friend to the one you're joining, or a direct-ip input option to refer them directly to your server.

This game had everything I was looking for in a quality game in the same vein as the death-race games of old, and I heartily reccomend it to anyone even considering the game if you had any interest in the genre; it's the bee's knees.

Best tool for couch potatoes, and converting peasants to use in lieu of a keyboard and mouse. Highly reccomend buying the website version, as it works better out of Steam, yet still gives you a Steam key for the same price.

Simply one of the best RPGs of all time. There's no point in comparing it to other games, just buy it.
