This game captures the charm of what I loved about Oblivion and Fable but in a mature setting. Much of the mechanics are weird and make you feel like a novice (you are!) but once you figure it out, slaying feels good and earned. The story is wonderful, and the world is so rich with life and exploration. Skills are important, and even in the end game I'll stop to gather herbs and craft weapons.

Requires friends to enjoy correctly! 300 hrs played and multiple play throughs, this game is the best of the best. I recommend playing it without mods for your first play through, but with mods it is refreshed and the gameplay completely changed.

I didn't have the graphic issues others complained about and was enjoying the game, but decided to refund it because of the microtransactions for a $70 game. Even free to play games know to only include cosmetic items. This is an ARPG with game altering microtransactions that include fast travel points, RC for hiring Pawns (companions) and special items, paid character re-customization (you cannot edit character after starting, and you can only create 1 character!), revival consumes, and a camping kit that weighs less than normal (your carry weight affects stamina and speed).

Very disappointing and I hope this backlash sends a firm message to the entire gaming industry.

I don't know where to start with this game, I was so hopeful and excited for it and it just falls flat.
The gun design? Bad.
The Ship design? could have been good, but was bad
The space travel? Bad.
The feeling of space and the problems of different atmospheres? Non existent.
The companions? Hope you like being lawful good.
The main story? Fetch alien antifacts
The side stories? The crimson fleet was best by far, but everything else was lame.
Also I hate Cole, idk why that was pushed on the character.

Overall, not worth your time

excellent story with excellent mechanics. A little clunky at times, but the idea shines through and is mostly executed well.

Story rich, atmosphere is awesome.

The game is pay to win with login bonuses. I just wanted to kill some time.

It's good, play the campaign it is a work of art.

It is Halo, I love it, but the menu is clunky, convoluted, and often doesnt work. Can't even download Reach, any time I ask to download it in settings it just reverts back to "not installed" and refuses to download.
