Holy ♥♥♥♥, it's actually so good. It starts out a little clunky like most of the dragon engine titles but you just gotta keep going because when it hits, it hits hard and only gets better and better from there.

Easily one of the best games I've played in 2022.

The combat is different and ideally for the next one I'd like it so that Ichiban has this system while Kiryu has the old system. Both of these styles are very good in their respective games and the turn based idea allows the writers and animators to really flex their talent and potential with phenomenal moments.

They really made this unique, beautiful, asymmetrical game, dropped it, and tied it to a 60 dollar game. I hope one day someone comes back to this idea, refines it, and handles it much better.

Not much to do right now, but definitely keep an eye on it. No micro-transactions and what's there has some great potential I can't wait to see developed.
