I had a lot of fun playing this game. The platforming, puzzle-solving, and combat were really fun. The characters were awesome and I cared about them immediately. I didn't notice 'til the credits rolled, but our protagonist is voiced by Andy Serkis! Such a talented man. The graphics WERE a bit dated, but I honestly didn't mind. I knew going in the game was about 8 years old, so that's where my expectations were. I enjoyed the story and the ending. It took me just short of 8 hours, so it was a good length. I didn't feel they rushed the story or jammed unneeded content in to to pad the game's length.

Definitely worth playing.

It's a great story, and the characters are hilarious. Great music. Combat is fun. Didn't feel too long at all. I loved playing it. Might play it again...

First off, the game is beautiful. It's also a fun casual game to play because the only items you can buy are all cosmetic. It keeps everyone on an even playing field, so it keeps it interesting to play. Occassionally you meet some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but hey, you're pirates.

Love letter to Half Life fans. This is such a great game to play and it remains true to its roots. It is definitely worth picking up. Even at full price.

Hey all, I was really excited to play this game. I was under the impression it was a hack/slash side-scroller with RPG elements. Similar to games like Dead Cells, which I really enjoy. However, after about an hour it became very apparent that the game was more about dodging and quick timed counters. Due to the stamina gauge, there are many moments during fights when you're just standing waiting for stamina to come back. It really slows the pace of the game.

I wouldn't recommend. If you like scavenging for supplies and playing a stealth game, I can see this being enjoyable. The game has compatibility problems with Windows 10 - I had to kill my Internet connection just to get the main menu up. It seems to be a common issue.

Anyway, not a zombie shoot-em-up game if that's what you're hoping for.

The story isn't what keeps me playing this game. The combat and environment are excellent. The enemies are a refreshing change to most games, and the bosses are challenging and fun at the same time. I say all of this as someone that HATED all of the Dark Souls games, but I see elements of that series within this one and it works.

This was a complete surprise. It looked kind of lame from the videos and screen shots, but you get two or three friends playing this with you and it is just really fun. We even jumped out of our chairs a couple times. I'm really looking forward to seeing this game grow.

I really wanted to like this game. I really did. However, the game's idea of a challenge is forcing you to play stealth, but spawning in enemies 8 feet behind you with a gun to your back. If you're someone that likes to opt of of having a mini map for a little immersion, you will only receive death and frustration.

The gameplay is kind of cool and has a cool concept. I just feel like the game is trying to force me to play a certain way, and when I try to play with a different method I'm punished for it.
