Through my spontaneous holiday purchases, I came across a few intriguing games and when it comes to survival horror games it's easily a blind purchase for me. Signalis is easily inspired by Resident Evil and Silent Hill. A lot more on the latter though since most of the monsters I’ve encountered behave and attack like any Silent Hill monster.

I commend the developer(s) since it is an excellent experience when it comes to gameplay. Signalis is a perfect example of great gameplay. I’m not so sure about the story. If you ask me what it’s about, I'll most likely draw a blank. All in all, Signalis was a great experience, I wouldn’t say I was frustrated by the no-story factor for myself. The boss fights were also a lot of fun.
