This is just another store front to try and siphon cash out of you, only this time you don't get to keep any physical cards. The actual engine itself for playing the game is atrocious. It's beyond overly complex, you can't imagine the amount of times you will have to click 'next' because the game can't see you have no moves to make at all. Hearthstone is what it is, but it is exceptionally polished making for a top notch user experience. MTG Arena is the opposite of that, save yourself the trouble. Buy cards at your local game shop and play there.

What the hell did they do to this game? It's overly complicated, messy, there is just so much crap in the way. No longer is this a simply game you could pick up every so often and play with your buddies. Not only that, but they keep resetting your level. Which makes sense for people with thousands of hours, but I gotta tell you I am beyond sick of re-leveling. If you have been playing this game for ages, keep going, but don't buy it and start now. It's lost it's shine and is too convoluted to be easy to play and enjoyable for your friends. I remember being able to pop in, have some scares and some laughs and call it a night. Now it's so bloody complicated it's just too much work.

This game is fantastic and the one issue that was Sony, has reversed their decision and is not forcing anyone into PSN. You can now enjoy this wonderful game without being forced into anything.

This game is very much a not yet game but maybe in the future.

Tried the game a while ago, put about 12ish hours into it. Was ok, not great, a bit of a mess and the UI was beyond difficult to deal with. Came back today to give it another go, started the tutorials and progressed to the start a colony tutorial. Built a warehouse, then built a town center and fishing area. Connected the fishing area for transfers and then went to build a road. I guess I built the town center one tile too close and the outline to build a road overlapped the town center I placed. No biggie, I can just remove the town hall, move it and then plunk the road down. Found the delete tool and deleted the town hall, I think. I say I think so as the game crashed when I deleted the town center.. Ok well maybe we will try something else..

Needless to say this is still painfully early access, the UI is still something that needs an overhaul, the tutorials are still very much broken, and I haven't even managed to get into a game proper. I'll try again in a while but as it stands unless you have the patience for a slog of an early access experience, I would wait on this one. Like I said, I'll give it another go in a while but I just don't have the patience to try and slog through a game when tutorial mission five was just more of the same from the first time I tried.

The game does need some polishing here and there. The Tutorial has some broken bits that need to be looked at. Some of the information needed is not relayed to the player. A good example of this is during new game creation where some of the options will include tool tips with descriptions, but not all of them. The grid can be a bit of a mess and ugly to look at, and the way it relays resource information to the player is not so hot. Still a ton of fun if you like games such as Open TTD, Captains of Industry, and games of the like.

This Dark Souls: Star Wars Mod needs a lot of work.

Do you like Dark Souls?

Do you like Star Wars?

If yes to both questions, you will enjoy this mod. If no to one or the other it's best to either load up a fresh game of Dark Souls, or boot up an old copy of Jedi Academy if you prefer Star Wars,

Sadly for a Mod, it's too expensive to recommend. Great story, but who knows what Dark Souls fan boy copy pasted the combat system and then dug up his Snes and copy pasted Metroid. I hear Jedi Outcast 1 & 2 are cheap along with Jedi Academy though. So that's something.

This game went from "not yet" to "Why did I even bother reinstalling." The game is slow, boring, and you have so little control to deal with threats other than more ants, but even that does not work. Mission 2 for example requires you to "stop" a rival colony from stealing larva. But not matter how many ants you grow, even to the point of a solid wall of defense ants. The enemy can just clip right through bypassing your defense completely. Then some voice comes on and proclaims they stole brood.. Examples like that show in detail that there is not much below the surface here. There are ants, food, and enemies, some upgrades but really it is just; make a lot of ants, set a marker, and hope.

This a very much a "not yet" game. I really want to love this game and it touches on so many Sim Ant vibes I love it. But sadly the "tutorial" as it is, is terrible and hardly explains everything. The voice overs are fantastic and I REALLY wish the tutorial information came from that medium rather than uninspired tooltips on the right hand side. The upgrade system could use a rework as it is hardly explained in the tutorial as well.

Keep an eye on this game for sure, but hopefully the devs will address the glaring issue that is the lack of information given to the player.

Not yet is what I would say. The game has real potential but it has a TON of balancing and bug fixes that need working out first.

Power generation never seems to work right. The game needs more options honestly. The wind power is not reliable at all and solar generation really isn't enough. Why not look into adding geothermal, or other options. Or maybe make the wind on your "inhospitable" planet stronger or last longer. I found myself with fields of capacitors and it still wasnt enough to hold the night if the wind died out for long enough.

O2 bug? I found on huge settlements that if I lost power for some reason or another to the point where the 02 would drop, it would never come back. The plants would indicate they were working and they were more then enough before the outage? Even building new plants would not work. Air would never return and everyone would die.

100 to 0... Another issue about losing power is the slow food process. If I lost power on veyr large colonies for ANY amount of time the food production would never recover. In fact the whole of the colonists would rush from one food dispenser to another in a mad rush to try to get the only food tray! Rather than you know, grow the damn food. Further more it would be the biologists, who for some reason are the only folk who can grow food. They would run back and forth trying to grab one tray of food rather than work on growing more. Perhaps setting the table so only one colonist is assigned to each tray of food when ready so not every single person is rushing for it halting ALL production if they happened to be hungry.

Honestly all this issues could be fixed by taking some notes out of Banished's book. Give players the ability to assign colonists to jobs, and beds. etc. Give us the ability to disable tasks. For example: Biologist A has meat production disabled but not veggies and herbs, whereas Biologist B only has meat enabled. This way I can regulate who is making what and not have it be so random. Especially in a game where things collapse so easily.

I really like this game, but I would wait for the devs to iron it out a bit more or wait for it to go on sale. 10 bucks is a bit pricey for a buggy and not very deep game.
