Have to change my review from Recommended to Not Recommended.
And I hope many other experienced players do the same, in a desperate attempt for change.



During my time of playing this game almost every day for the past year; The experience has been OKAY.

But the experience with the development team HAS NOT.


The team TRULY must not even play their game, or not play it very often at all, considering they allow such b*s* to continue being the way it is, and CONSTANTLY be making absolutely backwards game changes.



It has always been painfully obvious, even from just starting off in DBD, that killers being able to tunnel survivors off of hook, AND hook camp, let alone the fact it's VERY EASY to do so, is not fair, not fun, and not okay.



And yet: The developers do NOTHING about it.



They should make the endurance (protection) you get off of hook last at least 15s longer.
But they don't.

They should increase the speed of the haste you get off of hook, but have it remain the same duration.
But they don't.

They should make the hook timer go slower when the killer is nearby, and even PAUSE all-together when the killer is close enough.
But they don't.



For some reason they've just accepted the community being angry and upset about tunneling off hook and hook camping, and allow it to STILL, after YEARS, be a thing that pathetic unskilled children can do, abusing their broken game mechanics for kills. Whether it be for attention, or to feel special, or cause they like trying to make other people upset. The devs basically encourage them to do so; that's how easy it is to do so.




Ontop of this, they also have overpowered killers. MANY at this point.


1. Cannibal, for example, was literally ABSOLUTELY FINE the way he was, if not a bit overpowered. And they changed him to be even MORE powerful.

That same killer, the one who can literally get instant-downs, can hook camp a survivor all game if they wish to, and survivors can't do ANYTHING about it other than leave the survivor hooked.

And if they go to unhook the survivor, and trade hook places? The cannibal can currently hit the unhooked survivor with his ability, and then hit them AGAIN with his ability, IN ONE GO!
Apparently they think this is fine, because they do nothing to change him.





2. Knight was literally completely fine, if not a bit, TINY bit underpowered in certain areas, and a TINY bit overpowered in things like chases and waiting for the ghost to get a hit, blocking off areas for the survivor to run, etc.
He is now disgustingly overpowered.





3. Dracula was overpowered on release, to begin with. And then, guess what? THEY BUFFED HIM ONLY A COUPLE DAYS AFTER RELEASE. Transformation power is now like 0.3s cooldown. WTF? (that's not the only issue)
It should take a long time to transform from form to form. The killer should have to be decisive and smart thinking. Instead, the killer is overpowered and the player is given a freebie win just for selecting to play as this killer.





4. The singularity was awesome on release. If a bit underpowered. Maybe a TINY buff was in order. They buff it, and make it absolutely disgustingly overpowered. When I play as it, it's literally just overkill how overpowered it is. Everything is too easy. He was fun before, but now they made him insanely and disgustingly overpowered. Playing against him is ridiculous, too. There's almost no point to "sapping" biopods. He's able to go into biopod for 0.2s and get you "infected" again and boom, teleported to you and hit you 3s after cleansing yourself.




5. Deathslinger was absolutely fine the way he was. Idk if he needed any buffs or debuffs, because I didn't play him TOO often, but I would once in a while. I also didn't have any super fitting loadout like I do other killers, just what I thought would work with him. And, just guess what they did to him. Just guess.
They buffed him into OBLIVION. It is absolutely DISGUSTING playing against that killer now.

He can shoot at you with his ability (miss or not) and then literally 0.2S LATER YOU'RE SHOT AT AGAIN AND DOWNED.'

They increased both his reload speed to 0.2s (I kid you not.) AND his walk speed while reloading. WTF? How does that make any sense? WHO TF IS MAKING THESE ABSOLUTELY BRAINDEAD GAME CHANGES? Literally fire your disgusting braindead employees doing this sh. I don't get it. I truly don't.

WHY MAKE HIM THE SAME WALK SPEED(or, very VERY near it) WHILE HE'S RELOADING? AND WHY MAKE IT 0.2S? The survivor literally has no chance to loop or dodge 4 shots in 3.4 seconds.





6. Wraith has been overpowered for YEARRRRSSS and they've done nothing about it. I very, VERY, VERRYYY rarely play as him because of how overpowered, and therefor unfun, playing as him is. It's not challenging at all. And when I do play as him it's literally only because I have a daily mission to play as him, or I have a tome challenge that I need a really easy killer to do on, so I get it done really easy/fast.

I still don't understand why a killer that can go COMPLETELY INVISIBLE is super fast while invisible AND while not invisible. WTF?

Wouldn't it make more sense for him to be like half his speed while invisible, and keep the speed while not invisible? He can literally sneak up on people while invisible. There's no reason for the speed.

Or maybe reverse it. Way slower while visible, then fast while cloaked. So he gets to look all over the map for sh going on super fast and invisible, and then when he uncloaks he actually has to be smart about it.

Idk what the solution to debuffing him is. Maybe it's not changing any of his speeds, at all. But it is ridiculous, the state he is in.





I don't consider any other killers currently overpowered, at the time of writing this.
Even hillbilly is actually very strong of a killer; He can also literally instant-down, and yet I truly believe he's possibly completely balanced. Definitely, 100%, the most balanced he's ever been.



Another note I have to add at this point is that the community as survivor is disgusting.

I'm literally playing to survive my teammates, rather than the killers, most matches. It's just troll survivors after troll survivors (mostly always console players for some reason), hook camper/tunneler 9yo skillset killer over and over, both mixed together, or VERY, very rarely a team that actually makes me regret bringing the "selfish" perks I did.

And then I get into my next match and realize: nope. my "selfish" sole survivor perks are absolutely justified.

I don't know what the solution to this could be or is. But maybe a better matchmaking system? idk. I'm just tired of having throwing/troll survivors every match.



Another issue is being left just bleeding out, for like 9 minutes, in the game.
The devs even said getting yourself up would be basekit at some point. That point never came.
We SHOULD be able to get ourselves up. After like 2x recovery time as it takes now to get to full.


Last note I have is gonna be this:
the "merchant" character.
They released a trailer for the chapter, and it showed technology and skulls combined, etc. So everyone was excited and thinking something like, for example, an undead cyborg killing to avenge her human half, which is dead. Imagine that. The robot half of her being connected to the organic, dead half.

Nope!

Instead they released a disgusting rule34 sex game character-looking hetero/straight bait character. They literally took Nea's model and put a tinfoil mask on it and gave her a claw weapon and gave her giant, disgusting *ss and b**bies.


And do they admit it was a mistake, and put it off-sale? Nope!

They do what every other corrupt company out there, and pretend they got ZERO negative feedback and keep rolling out outfits, changes, etc. for it;

They don't acknowledge the negative feedback, or the fact this content is low-quality straight bait no character fortnite character looking sh, etc.
