I know what you're thinking. "This guy has 900+ hours in the game and doesn't recommend it?"

Well I do not recommend anything from DTG because of their business model. They released 5 GAMES over the course of 4 YEARS! Each new iteration had DAY 1 DLC! You could of easily updated prior releases. I was so invested in this game I bought a $200 cab controller just because the game offered a brand new and GOOD experience. Not even 2 months after that I see news for a 3rd game. I have not purchased anything after 2. Each time I see a new game a short period goes by and BOOM, "TRAIN SIM WORLD 309849 is on the way with brand new $6000 worth of DLC!! Learn more today!"

This company makes EA look like Mojang before the Microsoft acquisition. The game itself is fine. It lacks a populated world but the trains work. I just do not like how shady the company is tho. For those that don't know, we had to beg them to allow us to use DLC from previous games. I will give them credit they allow purchases from every iteration to be used on future titles, but I don't know how long that's gonna last. Then these dudes would De-list older versions of the games so new comers had no choice but to purchase the newer games. De-listing older games also meant new comers couldn't be warned about how greedy the company is. Of course these problems have been rectified in a sense but that doesn't mean that their actions should be forgiven.

It really sucks because I do like the game but when companies start over doing stuff to be greedy it makes me not want to play their games anymore. If you know about ARK survival evolved and all of its controversies you can definitely better understand this point.
