Started game, blocked by FIVE EULAs before getting to any kind of main menu. No option to decline, had to terminate the game process to cancel.

0/10 removed immediately.

I never played SS2 back in its day (just SS1), but I get what all the acclaim was about.
Absolute banger. If you enjoyed the first SS this is a must have.
Great job on the remaster.

Early Access Review
Seems to play like a mash of Subnautica, Wurm, and Minecraft. Hours drained happily. Always lots to do with a reasonable difficulty and learning curve. I'd quite like there to be things to do underwater though, even if it's just for occasional risky loot/reward. Great soundtrack too.

Great game for something that isn't finished yet, surprisingly small amount of bugs/issues. (Looks like Iron Gate are prioritising quality over speed.)

Very good platform game with a mix of 90s game play and current humour. Not too many moves to learn, and don't just get used for one thing. Great soundtrack too.

There were only maybe 3 or 4 small bits of the game I didn't like. Also I thought that some of the moves could have easily been more expensive, I was never short of quills to spend.

A must play for anyone whom enjoyed Banjo-Kazooie.

An absolute masterpiece of a game. Very 90s.
This is a rather great balance between being a modern delight and remaining true to a classic banger.

The story is vastly expanded and soundtrack is an excellent mix of additions from the first game's artists and (very welcome) new artists. Otherwise what this really is, is Hotline Miami where every little aspect of it is a bit better. The hard mode is also a nice bonus, though the only mechanic of that I didn't like is ammunition magically halving in quantity each time a firearm is picked up.

I've seen comments saying this is just "more of the same"... Well, it is a sequel. That's like saying Call of Duty 2 is too similar to Call of Duty 1 because they're both shooting games in a WW2 scenario. Speaking of which, although the story line bounces around a timeline and a wider range of characters much like CoD:MW2, this has been done in a way that's significantly easier to follow.

VERY recommended, but do complete the first game before playing this one for story continuity. (Ideally get the "secret" ending from it too.)

Outstanding retro game play with a quality story and epic soundtrack. I couldn't say that any part of this game is not fun.

VERY recommended.

Impossible to get any support, or even acknowledgement, for bugs. Bugs that have apparently been fixed from previous threads are just not.

This is not a good relationship for a commercial product, very much grab the money and run. So far the paid version's only benefit looks like to be cloud saves, but that feature doesn't even work.

Do not buy. The free edition is pretty much the same thing.
