I like to think of my self as a gamer. Decades of experience, through all manners of genres, styles, eras as it were.
As times have changed so do the games we play, and mostly they have been more open and available for exploration as the technology continues to advance.

Baldur's Gate 3 is a giant leap forward. Not because of technology, but because of the people that put their hearts and souls into it. They advanced our understanding of what is possible by giving us everything they could think of, and few things they couldn't think of to be honest ^,^

And they did this without losing focus on the objectives of a great game. Characters, Story, Motivation, Environment, Challenge, Reward. Satisfaction. They made sure it was a great game first. Then they made sure it was a Dungeons and Dragons, specifically a Baldur's Gate game. Then they decided to add in everything else, making a great game, utterly outstanding. So much that it was a wake up call to more than one generation, and more than just competitors in their own genre.

Behold, a brilliant example of how it should be done. With passion, time, and a dedication to making it right, and making sure it is enjoyable to your audience.

I bow to you Larian Studios. I have since my friends and I had fun doing stupid s!@# in Divinity Original Sin 1 & 2. And when we heard you got the license and were going forward with BG3, we KNEW it would be great, and we told each other repeatedly that we knew it first :P

We didn't expect you to blow it out of the sky as well as it did, until we played Early Access. Thank you! And never give up that passion, because we will never stop yearning for what comes next!

What can I say?
.... I know the political map of the world on Nov 11th, 1444.... better than I know the political map of the world today.
I love history. The fact that after hundreds of hours playing this game, and I am BETTER at ACTUAL history, instead of like, idk, the history of Azeroth, or of Hyrule, means so much to me.

Yup. Play Game. Learn History. Suck at Sieging. Get Stackwiped. Choose another country. Play Game. Yup.

I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy Warframe, but I did know that I was going to try it out regardless.
Now I'm not sure I will be able to stop playing Warframe, but I do know that I probably won't try to stop for a while regardless.

There are so many ways to play. There are so many days to play. I understand now. I will play a different way, every day. Who needs to go past level 60 anyways?

I love playing this game with my friends. It brings us together even when we are no where near another.
