I have played this game since the Closed Beta Testing, second week after first beta access. This game has gone through leaps and bounds since then, now over a year ago. The Dev team has absolutely put in a lot of work, and it shows from the literal difference I have seen patch after patch. The latest patch, the June 2018 Patch, balanced champion health across the board with Light, Medium, and Heavy champs, respectively, along with some improvements to other aspects of the game. I expect a lot more to change and my recommendation is to pick this game up while it is free. This game is also recommended if you like fast paced and skill based shooters.

While the game is still technically Early Access, expect it to be different from the final release.

1. Its an arena shooter, expect you will be less than average the first time you pick it up, especially if you're new to arena fps.
2. Play the game, it is the only way to learn.
3. Check out FrothyOmen's Youtube tutorials on Champions.
4. Join the Quake Discord for additional help from community.
5. After about a month of playing, you will absolutley know if this is the game for you.

Bonuses: Every season the maps are udpated with seasonal textures, and vanity items, along with player icons and backgrounds. (santa hats, bunny ears, Spring textures, Snow textures)

Note: Most negative reviews of this game are blown out of proportion and are done by people with very few actual gameplay hours in this early access title.

Best FPS I have played in a long time, Fantastic Campaign mode, and the new ARCADE mode is awesome to see where you stand among friends. The multiplayer is good, and very competitive, and just need to learn the maps and timers.
