If you're into western dark fantasy and a rough-like enjoyer, you can't go wrong with this one. The combination here really hit the spot and the team behind it did a good work so far. It's basically what they're showing in the trailers, Shooting demons, Casting spells, Jumping around and dashing non-stop through fast and punishing enemies in a smooth FPS settings. Collect material, Die and response again to upgrade your stuff.... Rinse and repeat. It feels so good until you hit the wall "no more content until march 2024".

• You have access to 1 area, which has 12 rooms ( wild guess, around 10-60~ enemies in each room) and 2 boss fights.
  
• It has 3 guns, 4 main Spells (Builds), Fire, poison, lighting, shadow +modifiers and a vendor sells ultimate and spells.
  
• It has 5 permanent Skills, (Each has 3 buffs). +You get 3 more skills if you play the game on higher difficulty.
  
• A workbench to Unlock and level up your weapons (3 levels only). And unlocks a chance to find two extra rooms, a forge to level up spells and a challenge room +2 medals and gold bonuses

That's basically it, Nothing more.
The game lacks content and complexity in it's current position. However, the core of the game is amazing and fun, and it has a promising road map. Whether you wanna invest now and enjoy the available content or wait for more polishing and content that's up to you to decide, But it's a must play.

• Intense and very Satisfying gameplay
  
• Fast and smooth playstyle and controls (it gave me hellsinger vibe)
  
• Good graphics, excellent voice acting, good music (a bit repetitive)
  
• Fair price...Actually it's very cheap, in my region is cost 8.5$

Cons:

• Lack of content
  
• Bugs. ex: sometimes your spell won't work properly, you stuck in objects, your bullets won't register
  
• Crashes and random fps drops.. Especially after cut-scenes (Crashed 2 times at the final boss)
  
• It's very short, You can finish it in 10 hours or less (depends on your luck and skills (AND YOUR CRASHES)

I had so much fun playing this game and i think it's the best treat to seal this great gaming year. My rating is 7.5\10, but it deserve 9\10 if they polish it more, make it complex and add more content. I'll keep an eye on this game and the next updates.

When i played Nioh 2 for the first time, I was amazed how deep and entertaining it is compared to other souls games, I literally Found a gem!, It felt like the game has no limits, Skill tree after skill tree, Weapon Poses, Core Abilities, Weapon arts, Weapon Familiarity, Skill chains and very grind focused game. Your character build is so complex you can't get bored cause you have multiable combat Technics that you can execute. When I finished the game i felt empty and thirsty because no game can deliver the same gameplay experience. I wished that someday Nioh 3 see the light or any similar project from team ninja! same quality or better!. Then they announced Wo long, It has the same Play style, Equipment, Menus and it looks almost identical !, I thought it to be a successor to Nioh which got me so hyped ,Until i played it.

Here is how this game works, basically you choose a mission and spawn with 0 Moral rank\level, Every enemy you kill increases your rank, The higher your rank is the more health, stamina and damage you have, Each hit you take lowers your rank and increases the enemy rank, If you die you lose your rank (to 0), To prevent losing your collected rank after death you must search and capture flags in the area until you reach rank 20 and fight the boss, You kill it and leave the mission and so on, you choose another mission and start with Rank ZERO.

The system sounds interesting for hardcore players at the beginning
Cause no matter how strong your build is you still spawn with rank 0 and have to make your way thro hard enemies, but then you find out you spend a lot of time hunting flags instead of enemies and combat! Which will become annoying, especially if you can't find the flags!


All in one system! It's built around Five Phases of elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. The element are mainly effect your wizardy spells damage and buffs, but it also effect your build (health, defense, consumption and also the damage of each weapon, which is very minimal, weird and confusing system for new players!


You can carry 2 main weapons, Each has 2 abilities that are attached to the weapon when you find it and it can't be changed, Which means YOU DON'T HAVE WEAPON SKILL TREES!!, Nioh 2 on the other hand had 12 Skill tree just for your weapons, Each tree has +40 skill and each skill can be upgraded separately! aside from your guardian, ninja, wizard and samurai tree


Let me give you the short version of how poor this game is compared to Nioh

• No weapon skill trees
  
• No Prestige bounces
  
• No skill customization
  
• No soul cores abilities
  
• No Scrolls and scrolls missions
  
• No Crafting material and trade
  
• No Weapon familiarity
  
• No Tea house\utensils items

• And i can go all day, It has no depth and nothing similar at all!

Tho the game has 2 new features
- A posture system like in Sekiro, Deflect and punish! which is good.
- Invades and Phanroms, Was happy to see it, but it is laggyyy.

-You also have few wizardry spells to combine with your build, But it's mostly limited, Not fun to use and useless Until you reach rank 15-20 of every mission to unlock your ultimate spell.

Here is what i went thro and why i really don't recommend this game.

• Cut-sences not working
  You must install VP9 Video Extensions from Microsoft Store to fix it
  
• White screens
  The screen flickers white like crazy (have't seen anything like it before), You must Turn OFF Ambient Occlusion to fix it
  
• Black screens
  Either you Alt+f4 or restart your whole PC
  
• Long Loading screens
  Even if you play it on the fastest hard drive on the plant
  
• No mouse support
  The mouse emulates controller movement, they fixed this issue after 3 days, but i must address it
  
• Broken Autosave
  Imagine you customize your build, sell and dismantle items, upgrade and level up, then when you go to help someone or when you open your game the next day you realize it didn't save your work, this happened to me 4 times in row, also to my friends.
  
• Terrible auto-lock
  If you want to lose your mind use the auto lock in this game, it jumps from the enemy in front of you to the enemies behind to the enemies in the underground tunnels. Manual lock is also broken.
  
• Broken\useless mini map
  I can't see the main boss or my friends direction\location on the map, I tried everything, but it is broken it seems.
  
• Broken camera
  The camera may go thro walls or behind objects in mid fight, died many times because of this.
  
• Teleportation
  If one of your friends has a minor connection or performance issues he will ruin the entire session, The enemies will teleport randomly, spawn and despawn, Spawns in safe areas and won't take damage.

What can i say, It's probably the worst PC port ever
The game has better graphics and effects, More cool cut-scene and more story content (Still poor) But a FAR worse gameplay, If you say you still want to enjoy it as a separate game (which it is), I still don't recommend it to you, it's filled with issues to the teeth.
For me tho, I will continue playing this game in the future, Just because i'm a big fan of the gameplay style here and i already bought the DLCs.

This game could've been something remarkable
The vibes here...... Is probably the closest to the souls genre, it's even darker (Which i like)
The world and the fantasy level are incredible and the OST choice is epic and fits it sooo well, I'm amazed tbh.

On the other hand
The movement, controls and the combat in general are broken and probably the worst in the genre of all time, The responses feels heavy and veryyyy slow. The graphics is also extremely poor and lacks details (Which i was aware of from the trailers) However i bought this game hoping that the gameplay would be better, like Thymesia for example.

I'm very disappointed, i've been waiting for this game for a longggg time

-I spent the last two weeks arguing\fighting in the discussion hub, boycott campaigns were all over the place, it was hilarious.
-I Learned for a fact that many popular critics review games based on their political views and the origin of the game, which is not professional and disrespectful towards their followers,they're definitely not qualified to review.
-I Lost Ukrainian friends, Cause the Ukrainians blood is in my hand now they say, Even tho Mundfish is not a Russian studio and even if, Games must not get involved in these dirty political games. and if you think i'm being cruel towards the Ukrainian people, then i ask you to boycott all USA Devs\games, Cause they also invaded and ruined my country... no one cared and i know you won't, here is your double standards for you.
-And finally I played one of the most interesting SIFI games ever, And cheated on my GF with a fridge in the process lol.

Perfect Gameplay loved it inside out
You can play this game stealthy (Mostly) or loud, you can go aggressive with guns or you play with style by abilities and tricks which helps you to manage your resources (If necessary). The Gameplay Mainly is in underground labs and Facilities, Each level of the game has puzzles rooms and mechanics need to be solved, it's simple but very fun and engaging.

Difficulty wise, it's a nightmare if you play it on hard and kids game if you play it on easy, in general It has a great aggressive combat system and stubborn enemies, If you master your weapons and abilities well nothing can stop you. sadly it's only 13 weapon, 5 abilities only, Yet the combos you can do with are amazing and very Satisfying. JUST DON'T PLAY IT ON EASY.

Also it has some cool and new features like
-New looting system, Press F To pull\loot everything.
-Cute and classic cartoon Demonstrations for your abilities, Which i enjoyed a lot.
-You can dismantle and re craft anything at anytime without losing any resources,
which very useful if you need to change your build from time to time,
-And you can drive a car.

You play as P-3 a perfect loyal employ Who got lost after the robots Apocalypse and starts questioning the world around him, what's right and wrong and who to follow. The story start interesting, then becomes kinda boring and then booom, Fast build up, Shocking, dramatic and sad events, which changed my mind on the story and left me very excited for the next Dlcs, Can't say much about the story, don't want to spoil it on you.

The characters and dialogues are good, Very political and serious and sometimes sexual, but mostly funny.
Be aware that some very critical story facts and infos are buried between the lines, you must not skip any side dialogues with your glove, if you want to fully understand everything.

Audio quality is good
The OSTs on the other hand are remarkable and a piece of art, I'd give it 10\10.
Some background tones are extremely repetitive and will probably drives you crazy, no joking, like the fridge music for example, where you upgrade your gear and craft stuff, it's nice music i swear but once you hear it 200 times it becomes the last thing you want to hear, And that tone.... no normal human can listen to it more than 3 times, but you keep coming to upgrade, and yes you can't mute it. i hope they fix it soon cause i'm sure many people will suffer from it. (Not to mention the Surveillance camera noise)

Runs like butter
I use 3080 | 5800, all settings on Atomic (MAX) @3440X1440
Avg fps180 | highest 300, Many people doubt this game so hard, some even bet it would be badly optimized (based on nothing obviously) but it turned out it's one of the most optimized games DAY ONE!

This game is featurestic, hypred, atmospheric, and full of life, The environment is nicely detailed and very organised, Graphics are beautiful and so on. cut scenes animation was sadly mostly cheap, and some underground areas are not good as the outer world.

If you suffer from motion sickness you should stay away from this game, Until they optimize the FOV and add FOV settings, however you can lower the shake intensity from Gameplay settings to 0.2 and you can install Flawless ultrawide software and enable FOV fixer, this will help you a lot, otherwise you will quit the game.

I Strongly recommend it
It's a unique journey and something we didn't experienced before
Great world, Great story, Great Gameplay and are optimized, fairly priced (40$ in my region), +40 hours of playtime "depends on your play style and the difficulty".

You can't go wrong with this game
unless you hate the Russian accent or the soviet era, and perhaps looting
cause you must loot non stop in this game, and some people don't like that at all.

Well, In the past, Gamers only care about what they are really interested in
They buy it, Test it when it's out, write down their opinion and move on!.
In result, the reader can find an accurate honest ratings, Pro and Cons and so on.

Nowadays..
Everyone wants to be related to every game out there
Take Forspoken for example, Most gamers are not interested in the game from the beginning
Yet they attack it non stop, post memes about it everyday, judge it years before the release date and race everyone to buy it day one just to review bomb it (0\10 don't buy this trash) then refund. And If you still like the game somehow they will hunt you everwhere, Like it's not enough for them to let everyone know that they hate the game, they want everyone to hate it as well and adopt their opinion, otherwise they will make it personal and shame you with insults, bad language, jester emotes and all.

i'm not sure if we can trust this ratings system anymore, Especially when people using it to farm awards and attention and get their money back easily, steam must fix this BS, refunders must not be allowed to review.. Since people are abusing this feature..

• It's all about the Gameplay
  You won't feel like a superhero in this game, you will feel like a god
  A fast god-like play style,+50 awesome magic spells, huuuuge world that strongly encourages you to explore and with the fast and smooth parkour and movement... I can say the Gameplay here is amount the best, you just need to play it on HARD difficulty to maximize the fun.
  The only down side is the control settings on PC, it's bad.
  
  
• The story is kinda ok
  Few surprises here and there, In general it's your everyday story... Don't expect much
  I gave it 4\10 because of the poor presentation, it's messy and annoying. To find the truth you must chase an orb of light across the map and interact with it multiple times (i lost count) which activates a ghost memories, during these memories (or whenever your bracelet speaks) the game freezes, You can't move you can't turn your head and you can't even breath, you must wait and listen, it's one of the worst experience ever, luckily you won't encounter many "dialogues" you spend most of the time in Gameplay .
  
  
• The graphics is generally good
  Beautiful in some places,bad in others... I don't know what exactly happened to this game, some areas (and cut scenes) are completely messed up and in a different quality, very blury and generally suffers from a severe lighting problems, they should've gave it more time.
  
  
• Bad Music and voice quality
  Aside from the final battle music and some osts, the music is annoying and repetitive i had to mute it and play an epic spotify tracks instead lol, tho you can't mute your bracelet voice, he comment on everything you do again and again, every time you fall every time you knock enemies or open a box, he repeats the same LONG dialogs on every little detail, which makes the Gameplay kinda repetitive if you pay enough attention to it, i hope they add an option to mute it.
  
  
• Bad Optimization
  Thanks to DLSS i'm able to run this game fine in Ultra settings @3440x1440 using 3080, getting around 50-60 fps, yet I've encountered a heavy fps drops ~30 fps at some places, so i don't recommend you play this game if you don't have 3080 minimum and 12 a gb of VRAM to avoid that textures problem.

• The game is insanely detailed, Very atmospheric and gory
  it has the most realistic graphics and the cleanest Sound effects ever it's mind blowing how natural the sound of engines, screams and sirens, they did a pretty amazing job here.
  
  
• The story content is sadly very low and The game in general is short, you spend most of the time trying to escape the prison without known much about what's going on, until the last 2-3 hours, Plus you don't spend enough time with the characters to care about what may happen to them.
  
  
• The Gameplay is very simple and a bit repetitive especially at the end. You can't run or properly dodge, in general all you need to do is ...Face your enemy and hold A or D to doge and hit him back, you don't even have to time your dodge or anything, just hold (A,D) and the character will automatically dodge the attack in the perfect time. once you know this fact nothing can kill you in the game.
  
  
• Character progress is very little, You only have melee, cloves and few weapons (9-4 upgrades for each) And you can't print or upgrade more than two guns cause the resources are limited, unless you go for NG+ ofc, but the game doesn't have NG+ mod yet, which is essential to create a good complete build or to complete the achievement or to play on a harder difficulty.
  
  
• Cheap horror, Some jump scares are not only funny and predictable but also embracing (remove it please). But Honestly The gore, lighting, shadows and sound effect, kinda even it up and makes the game satisfying, Also the scenario (alone in a dead moon prison) and the silence there makes the atmosphere very terrifying and intense, other than that don't expect much from the game
  
  
• Performance.. if you don't have 3070 and above don't come near the game
  for me i played it on my 3080 and 5800xt @3440x1440, ray-tracing off, the game runs fine 50-60 fps, Got few stutters and fps drops in my journey, Few crashes in some areas, But it was fine, I just hope they fix these issues before they release the new dlc.

  I enjoyed it, The game didn't fail to Impress me, I don't know what the people were expecting to see in this game, They promised us an atmospheric highly detailed action horror game with insane graphics and visuals, That's exactly what we got and that's exactly what we were hyped about, And that's what makes this game a unique experience. But yes it's a shame they didn't care much about the gamplay, and it's a shame they didn't make it scarier than what it is.
  
  If care about the graphics\details and hyped about the next gen experience then go buy this game now, And if you care more about the gameplay then you probably should watch a video on the gameplay before you buy it

Briefing

I really wanted to keep this game but...Almost every aspect of it feels cheap and outdated (Graphics, Texture, Lighting, Shadow, Menus, Sound effects). Even if you enjoy the Gameplay... Not gonna lie It was good and full of action, Still it's not worth the price, I mean it costs more than games like God of war, Elden ring and so on, which is way longer, bigger, better and cleaner in everything, That's mind blowing !![/b]

When you think that Doom's gameplay is perfect and can't get any better comes this game and prove you wrong.
Don't get me wrong, No game can beat "Dooms' Atmosphere, Playsyle, Music, Gore and story in it's catagory, but Slaying enemies to the beats !! thats a whole new level of intense and fun.

Pros:

• Great OSTs, But you wanna stay away from this game If you hate metal, it's very loud and you can't mute the music cause The whole gameplay is based on it
  
• Excellent Gameplay, not only slaying enemies on the beat, But also moving, jumping, reloading and dashing on the beat, man i was jumping for no reason my hands still hurts XD
  
• Cheap, got it for 8$, I think it's definitely worth the price.

Cons:

• One boss only, you keep fighting the same boss over and over
  
• Bad story, but to be fair it's all about gameplay here
  
• Veryy Short, You can finish in 4 hours (8 hours to Fully complete it)

Note: This game Is sadly very easy
Once you learn how to shot to the beat, you can cut through the demons like butter, so you can't compare this to Doom's difficulty in no way

First off..
This game is not only boringly easy (relatively speaking)
Like you can freeze anything and beat it to death (bosses included)
Safely kill bosses and enemies by throwables only
Get healing consumables like a Christmas candy "that you barely need to use"etc etc
But also has an assist mode in which you can control damage reduction (0-100%), stamina regen and souls drop on death!

How dare you call it a "souls-like" XD
Honestly I'm not sure what inspired them to create this game,
but it's not fromsoftware games.... not fully.

1. I didn't like the era and the greeny environment, it doesn't fit the game.
   
2. a souls-like but not in a full fantasy world. (thats a first)
   
3. of all souls games out there, this one didn't give me (if i may say) the deep dark fantasy vibe that we used to feel and praise in these games,... long story short, it felt like a bad mix of games and ideas.

• Junky control, combat, and Ai system
  
• Weird movement and responses, ex: your character runs in slow mo.
  
• No real challenge, i mean you may sleep in most of boss fights,
  I swear if you spawn a ringed city Knight in this world, he i'll solo kill all bosses and clears all that mess XD
  
• Confusing map, not sure if i'm right, but the map doesn't show your exact location, kinda useless to me.
  
• you may encounter many bugs and glitches depends on where you play the game, and i tell you it's a total mess on steam.

  aside from crashes and the extreme fps drop (that can only be solved by restarting), believe it or not this game uses 14GB of Vram on ultra settings@3440x1440, which my 10GB 3080 can't handle, so i had to lower textures res to medium!!! on a 3080 !!! well, I would've understand if the graphics are extremely detailed, but it is decent compared to similar games that uses wayyyy less memory and performance power, so idk whats going on here exactly !!!

Pros:

• Weapon designs and abilities are interesting and fun to play with, and it's the only new and creative thing they provide, it's their nice touch

i didn't finish the game, yet I've played 10~ hours in closed beta, and they didn't fix it at launch, So i refunded and watched the rest on yt lol
