WE WIN, SONY LOSES, LET'S GO SPREAD SOME FREEDOM

Playing against Terminids = I'm fulfilling that Starship Troopers fantasy and doing my part! Squash the bugs! *queue patriotic music*

Playing against Cyborgs Automatons = I've the seen the barbarism of the machines, the people cannot fight back. I've seen the jungles of Malevelon Creek swallow entire teams with nothing but laser fire erupting from the trees and the trees are speaking f***ing binary, I've seen Draupnir fall into the hands of the machines and it's people butchered. We will win, CRUSH THE MACHINES!

Playing against the Illuminate: Ḟ̴͇͇̟̱͎̋̎̒́̒͂̈͊̅͑̾E̸̢͈͎̤̜̫̫͎̗̮̿̅̓̈ͅA̶̻̥̼̣̹̳͖͐̏̊̆͐͑̊̉̎Ŗ̸̛̞̙̹͇͖̜̝͇͝ ̵̢̙͚̮̗̯͇̘̟̞̥̳͐͐̓̕T̶̺̐̌̔̊̎͋̿͒̉͂̂̎̚H̶͕̱̉͋̄̾̔̄͑͜͠Ȩ̵̢̡̝͕̱̱̼̘͈̙̠̦̥̇̾̅͂̇̊̒̆̚ ̶̡̧̢̟̣͈͉̖̾̐͗́̀̆̈́̍̈́͌̕͜ͅV̴͓͈̪̞̝̗̯̙̠̿O̷̧͖͉̟͈͍̞͇͠ͅĮ̷̰̺̥̟̘̟̺͔̱̠͍̀͛̀͋̎̿͌̓̀́͝ͅḊ̴̨̢̻̬͖̭̖͎͕̭̫͓͚̯̒̂̇̈́̂̄̚ͅ,̵̢͕̼͓̩̭͖̣̮̙̮̝̣̝̈͂͐ ̵̡̛̗̫̜̦̤̱̋͆̑̈́̚F̵̮̈́̊̅̀̔͊̀͘E̶̛̜̜̳̞̦͊̾̂͐̓̂̒̒̄̀̃̓͝͝A̵͍̜̖͈̮͕̟͍̠̞̾̑̒̅̾͒̍Ŕ̵̨̡̨̧͍̳͙̤͕̱̤̙̠̦͜ ̵̧̡͍̻̙̻̫̱̼͇̪͊̽T̸̨̞̝̥̟̜̟̝͕̹̻͝H̴̺͈̹͍̹̞͔̻̠͐̀͛́̐͝Ẽ̴̥̰̖̫͓͓̱̥̭͆̕͜ ̵̛͓̗̱̖̮̣̟͚̲͆̅̿̽̉͑͛̔́̂́̃͌͘U̵̢̜̞̹͔̘͐̈́͜N̵̨̟̱̤͙̈́̾̉͒̔͛̏̄͐͘̕͝K̵͔̦̤̳̩͉̭̤̘͊̀̈́͋̍̏͆̿͋̈́̚͝N̸̛̞͇̏̌̐̓̅̌̎̅̀͐̑̕O̴̢̭̟͖̟̭͝W̴̳̖̞̙̪̼̩͈̫͔͚̻͔̽͆͑̋̔̓̂̇̇̋͘͘N̴͈͑͌̏́̃

Incredible game, incredible team for fixing all the issues that were present. Absolute 11/10 game that nails the feeling of being in space Nam, being a great game with friends, and being one of the best looking games out there. Remember: Friendly Fire Isn't. Go show them how Democracy works Helldivers.

This is just one of those games that has you thinking not about the winning move, but the move that will get the best outcome and one that will hopefully not force you to watch your team get wiped in one move by a well placed bug-bomb. In all honesty though this game takes FTL's great formula and applies it to a chess game where one wrong move and no resets means GG.

Rise of Nations was my first RTS game and led me into this genre. It is the standard by which I use to judge all RTS games and I'm glad to say the Extended Edition has brought it back, with improvements! This has to be one of the greatest RTS games of all time (course I'm a bit sentimental) and it is extremely pleasing to see it brought back.

The Good: Classic RTS that won 2003 PC Game of the Year remastered, still great controls, music is still amazing (always felt a sense of wonder when listening to it), fantastic RTS formula of gather and fight, killing bombers with arrows (I know what your thinking: "how'd Civ Rev get in here!? wtf!?"), cheats still work (type in "cheat nuke" without the quotes...or maybe it's just "nuke"...but anyways don't have cursor over your base!), graphics are aged but still impressive considering when game was done, comes with the expansion Thrones & Patriots which added some improvements to original game along with more people ('Murica & Associates), advancing through ages can be interesting (see "killing bombers with archers" above), great campaigns, nations are varied with both traits and units that can extend through ages (lookin at you Mayans & Aztecs), just a dam good game

The Bad: graphics are aged a bit (gotta crticize somethin), camera can be weird at times, not realizing cheats still worked and annihilating your Classical Age town, AI is more intelligent than you think (not a bad thing as much as unexpected), some research is a bit tedious

The Ugly: I WANT TO SEE RISE OF LEGENDS REMASTERED!! COME ON GUYS!!

Overall, great remastery of classic RTS and something I completely forget about and put my orginal disc in everytime. Enjoy the game folks

Pretty good game. Fun to play with your own music and can get crazy. I'm generally not a dubstep fan but played some with this game and it can get pretty tough, especially on hardest difficulty. Worth gettin!

First and foremost, this is not your typical strategy game. There are some interesting elements to it that can enjoyable or a pain in the ass, depending on your gaming preferences. If your a fan of the Divinity series and RTS games than you will most likely enjoy this game (as I do) but if not then you either need to be a Dvinity fan or a gamer who enjoys unique RTS experiences to enjoy this game. If not, I'd recommend finding another game.

The Good: A very unique experience, flying around as a god***m Dragon with a friggin Jetpack is just epic, Political choices can be interesting, straightforward RTS experience that is not overly complicated, graphics are good, steampunk feel is pretty cool, other various small things

The Bad: Can be somewhat buggy at times, commanding units while being dragon takes some time to get used to and still feels awkward after awhile, some dialogue is boring and not needed other than to kill time, that Lizard general douchebag who I'd love to throw off the airship, world map is somewhat confusing at times, other crap.

The Ugly: RTS controls can be very aggravating to work with at times, game can crash at worst times, that ugly as a bloated, mauled corpse UNDEAD SKELEON WOMAN that can be chosen as wife... SERIOUSLY WHO THE F**K WANTS THAT?!?!

SCORE: 7.5/10
