This game and the original are both absolute works of art.
If you haven't played Everhood 1, make sure you play it before playing this.

The world feels so alive and weird and unique and I'm absolutely obsessed with almost every character I meet.

I have a love hate relationship with this game

I think it does one thing very very well in particular. That thing is how well it makes you feel like you're lost. The game lacks a central story, or at least a clear one. It also doesn't explain literally anything to you. I do really love the way it forces you to think and explore on your own, solving puzzles with the weird items you get, however I think it's also really easy to get too lost and the lack of a story can make it hard to follow what's happening.

Overall, if you can survive playing only for gameplay and the lack of a story doesn't bother you, you should play this game.

Whether or not you enjoy the combat, the story is absolutely peak and I don't know if I've ever been this invested in a game other than like hollow knight or minecraft
