A $5 game with more thought and effort than Destiny 2.

The world of Betrayer has good and strong story, as well as a good amount to do in each area. I will admit that achievement hunting in it got very tedious, but if you're going through for a fun first-person experience, boom, got it.

Betrayer is a first-person stealth shooter that places itself in 1604. The two color schemes are red + black/white or full color, but you can set it at any point in between, whether you want a light tinge of color to go with it, or slam color with a little less emphasis, which REALLY sells the 1604 theme.

The getting better weapons and such adds a very nice feel, as well as the named weapons later on add a fantastic diverseness to the end-game. Starting out feels unfulfilling due to how late in the game you get the spade, but once you get it, you become an ascended human being; an unstoppable force of nature, which you need to be in the end.

I enjoyed my time in Betrayer, and I wish more games were like it.
