Honestly don't understand all the hate for 5$ its a good dlc that ads some nice flavor giving relationships ingame more meaning its nice to have a reason to hate someone or know why one of your counts tries to undermine you at every turn its a nice new layer to the game.

its a shame the world is filled with entitled monsters that think code is free and game development should be free.

I dont often review games but thought this would be a good time to give an honest review after reading the majority of ignorant review bombing garbage out there.... dont believe all the SHEEP posting negative reviews because their favorage form of social media cancer told them to form your own opinion.

Is this the best total war game ever NO... but it is still a very good game for 40$, i liked the fact that they have taken some of the good ideas that came out of warhammer and added them to a smaller campaign on the british isls durring a very interesting time in history.

the combat isnt bad much better than attila but becuase the similiaraties of all the unites I can see where others would not enjoy it being a hisotry guy myself i dont mind it hell even Medieveal 2 what most consider the gold standard of total war games was very much the same way.

the campaign offers enough diversity in play styles based off what faction you want to start with where it dows have plenty of replayability

it runs perfect on my pc with ultimate gfx but i do have a beast so not sure how midgrade pcs fair.

I never review games but feel with whats going on in the Ark community i should....
Yes this is an early access game and there are bugs and yes there is some paid DLC content for it...
being someone that has worked in the game development industry im not going to rage about either this is a solid game with amazing dev support that has added many new features the community has asked for that where not originaly planned and was forced into releaseing a paid dlc (IMO) because of a loss of 40 mill over a silly law suit (do your research the lawsuit was bs) and the companies mistrust of venture capitolists understandable... look they will finish the game and it will be all they promised and more..

This game is more than just a survival game my friends and i have played over 1k hours each on this game and see no end to it if you like survival games and like building custom buildings and dinos then this is the game for you and ignor all the childish hate think for yourself not all the special snowflakes that are mad because they had to shell out another 20$ to enjoy another 1k hours of enjoyment on their 30$ game that gets VERY regular patches and content additions.

Changed due to the reversal of the steam pay for mods policy great game with great mod community.

let the last bit of this review serve as a warning to greedy devs/publishers


used to be a huge fan of TES games. can confirm TESO account cancled and uninstalled, skyrim uninstalled, and any excitment over fallout 4 gone. this move to charge for mods and keep MOST the money by steam and bethesda has forced me to give skyrim a neg review... i will also no longer be buying games off steam and instead visiting my local gamestop/bestbuy for witcher 3 and any other non bethesda game purchase. any other game that joins the mods for cash movement will also be uninstalled and said publishing company will no longer recieve my hard earne money. in hope there are many more like me the only think these companys understand is money speak with your wallets.
