Pretty fun. Gets repetitive when you reach the end game, so there really isn't much else to do, and I don't wanna pay for dlc, so I guess that's why I've stopped.

I don't even know where to begin with this one,
It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rhythm game with a beetle.
This game is like guitar hero on acid, but without the guitar nor the acid,
Holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pee pee this game is crazy.
If you like the Rhythm Heaven games, you'll probably like this one, although this one may
be a bit more challenging as it requires faster reaction time.
The notes sometimes can be asynchronous, but it's always on beat, so it remains consistent,
but that doesn't mean it wont pull a fast one on you, in fact, %90 of your deaths will be
because of something you weren't expecting.
This game will occasionally have motifs per level that are more there for a quick refresher,
like a break, and you look forward to seeing them as you know what to expect.
Due to wanting to get S tier on many of the levels, and restarting often because of it, I
can't really tell you how long it will take you to beat the game on your first playthrough,
but I didn't officially beat the game until around 13 hours in. I still don't have S tier on
all the levels, but I was playing this on my laptop, so I can expect myself to do better once
I try this game on my desktop. This game runs well, over 100 frames per second on my laptop when the framerate cap is off. I was playing the steam version, as it offers all kind of support, such as Virtual Reality, controller, keyboard, and so on, but this game is available on other platforms too. There is even a phone version of it as well.
If you were blind, you could beat this game, but it would be hard. It's not impossible, and you can hear cues ahead of time to indicate when you need to perform an action, however it isn't consistent, such as the rail snakes.
However, for a $20, I don't really see myself spending that kind of money for this kind of game.
Although its chock full of content, most of it is repetitive, and i feel that a $10 price point
would be more reasonable for what the game is.
Fortunately the steam sale made it only $5, which i felt made this game %100 worth it.
If you are a hardcore music lover slash rhythm game lover, go for it, but
if you are a regular gamer, wait for it to go on sale,
and if you are just a casual gamer, probably pick this up if it's $5, otherwise you
probably wont get the full enjoyment from the game.

To rate this, I'm going to give you an arbitrary number that has no meaning to anyone
else but myself of the number: 8.27

First server i join, a hacker just kills everyone and ends the game in 2 seconds. I see why the game is dead now, bloody hell its no fun. Since there is no one playing this game you'll most likly end up with the hacker again in the same room. I'm not even joking, this one guy would kill everyone in a matter of seconds, shooting you before you even spawn basically. Its clearly obvious too, like some kind of aim lock. This game would be fun, and it is, if it wasnt for the fact that it has no protection against cheaters. Literally ruining the game, I might consider a refund.
THIS GAME NEEDS A VOTE TO KICK. I see the messages in game and it all says what BS it is that we have to deal with these cheaters. I think this game was last updated like 3 years ago (2016) as far as I can tell. No dev support what-so-ever.

You are better off playing any of the quake games, any... at least there will be enough players that you wont have to worry about only being paired with a cheater.

I'm not going to tell you that this software will teach you how to play guitar or not. What I will say tho is that it helped/helps a lot. Not only does it make people who wouldn't even think about picking up a guitar (such as myself) give it a try, it is actually fun and supports a wide rage of songs to satisfy people like me.

Overall: P' gud.

My Thoughts on the Game:
It's a fun fast paced game. The variety makes it more appealing compared to Destiny 2, this game makes Destiny 2 look like it a demo copy with no content. I will say that most of the Updates to this game is smaller and less exciting, but after what I heard about the Warmine Update, I'm not going to bother with D2 again.
The world is constantly changing with its tile system making each run feel different in some slight way. I did notice they added new tilesets, but I still feel like there isn't enough variety in tiles as it all starts to look the same over and over again, taking away from the immersion.
This game is not noob friendly at all. If you are starting this game for the first time then find someone, such as myself, that will help you along the way. This game does a poor job explaining how things work. The tutorial is basically trial, error, exploration, and mainly talking to the community. The community will be your main tutorial and I'm not even joking. Need an example? Here's one for you newcomers: Don't play Limbo until you've learn to master his moves, otherwise you will p i s s people off.
The foundry is the only thing bogging this game, but for a FTP that isn't much of a problem. It slows down the player from having a new experience with a weapon or Warframe. Yeah you can pay to build it instantly, but nobody (including myself) thinks that would be worth it. Since it's a free to play, there incentive of making money is through a ingame currency called Platinum. The way it's used in this game is kinda ok, but it also makes it a sort of Pay-To-Win. Before you downvote this review for calling it that (those who feel it's not a PTW), listen to this. You are able to unlock a Warframe and weapon that better suits your need early game with Platinum in comparison to a player that doesn't have Platinum. That gives an advantage for that player in a way, making it a form of PTW since paying has a direct correlation to how much of a utility the player can be, and how much they spend on buying those utilities. Mid-Late game paying for weapons and Warframes with Platinum no longer matter in the same sence since by then you will probably already have weapons and Warframes equally, if not more, powerful than the ones you are able to pay for.
The game modes are nice, with some unique modes in the mix. I will say the modes do get boring after a while and it would be nice if we got more updates involving newer modes, but the ones it currently have will do. They did add a new mode recently, Sanctuary Onslaught, so at least they are adding fun new content.
The one thing I don't really understand is why they vault Warframes. The only thing I can come up with is the communities fear that their desired Primed Warframe will be vaulted/re-vaulted making them have the incentive to pay for the Warframe ASAP so they don't lose the chance to get that Warframe.

Last thoughts on the game mechanics: This game is a grindfest for material. This is probably the biggest grindfest of a game I've ever had to deal with. It's not the worst grindfest, but it's definitely what you will be doing for the most part of the game. It's not too bad because you will be playing the game while getting the materials, and the game itself is fun so its not a problem. Most materials are easy to get, but some are time restricted as they can only be obtained from special events such as Alerts, Sorties, Fissures, and Invasions.

My thoughts on the Story: Spoilers are marked out!
Ok before you call me dumb, hear my side: The game does a bad job at telling you anything. When you are first introduced to the Greneer, I honestly thought they were aliens. Their faces are all messed up, their bodies to anatomically line up with the human body, and they talk and read in a cryptic language/text. It wasn't until later in the game that I noticed them mentioning clones n' stuff. I had to look it up to realize that the Greneer were just clones that were modified for war. So I they aren't aliens after all. There are even sentients that look like aliens, but it turns out that they are just weapons for the Orokins. I thought that the Orokin. What about the Infested? Surly they are alien, right? Nope, the internet says it's possibly a bioweapon or that it occured naturally within the solar system. The game does provide a bit of story with its Codex, but that requires reading boring cards n' stuff. At least it's a better way of telling the lore compared to Destiny 1, where the lore was only available after unlocking the cards, then accessing it on the website. So at least we don't have to open our browsers to read those Codexes. The story itself is empty. It has little amounts of story telling, and instead just gives small chuck of a story without giving you the last chunks we need to peace it all together. It's like getting a 10000 piece puzzle set box, but when you open the box there is only 1400 puzzle pieces. Like what n' tarnation happened to lotus? Nobody knows. Was she truly copying Margulis's image? or was she Margulis? We literally don't know what happens after she disappears, where she went, who she really is, what Ballas does with her, and what happened to Margulis. I know this story is still being developed, and the "puzzle pieces" are coming in slowly, but seeing that this game has been out for 5 years and the story is just now becoming interesting raises some concern. At this rate Half-Life 4 will be out before we get the conclusion and meat of the lore in Warframe. Honestly I'd like to see flashback missions/quest that take place during The Old War, maybe using old weapons never seen before, old Warframes with wonky mechanics as if the Warframe is an Alpha version. Maybe it allows the Operator to make adjustments to the old Warframe to modernize it and make it less wonky. I kinda want to fight in The Old War so I can know what happened, lore wise, and to see the devastation it created. I will say this is a pretty unique story, but needs more to it.

Pros:
  • Free
  • Fast Pace
  • Unique Story
  • Has more things to do compared to Destiny 2
  • Is being updated constantly
  • Has one of the better communities
  • There is almost always something to do
  • Customization is p' neat
  • There are a variety of weapons and Warframes to get, so there is always something you probably don't have so you better start adding to your collection to find the weapon/Warframe that best suits your playstyle
Cons:
  • Pay-To-Win-ish (only in early-game)
  • Could use more tilesets
  • Vault system is a psychological way to make people feel they need to pay now, or wait several months (maybe a year) to unlock a Warframe
  • What tutorial? Not noob friendly
  • Grindfest for sure

Updated:
The story is moving along quite well, the recent update of Fortuna and the switch release makes this game that much better.

TLDR:
It's a good/fun/fast paced game with a lot of content and variety, Platinum is implemented alright. Story is being presented slowly. If you are new to the game don't be afraid to ask about stuff since this game does a poor job of explaining things.

A fun game, but what most people don't know is the OST is amazing (even if it is a small amount of songs). The game is short and requires focus most of the time, and the leaderboard is kinda useless since the top players are people that clearly cheated, but ehh it is worth the money. Would recommend to check out.

When bioshock (original) still works on windows 7 (which the game was optomized for windows xp) but this buggy mess cant, it's not worth buying. I was lucky to get it for free, but at some point in the game i cant even save. Better off buying the base version since that one works. I dont know about windows 10 however, but it is definently a buggy mess.

PROS:
  • Looks a bit nicer, but not by that much.
  • has a room with a bunch of unused assets, but you can go online to see that.
  • A bit more (but not by that much) customization in settings.
CONS:
  • Manual saves will crash the game.
  • Sometimes customizing the settings (such as audio) will crash the game
  • Some custom controls/button mapping crashes the game
  • Not really a remastered, more like, "We just went into MSPaint and put a bunch of starfish everywhere to make it look nicer. We also went cheep and got newbie coders to do stuff with the game who really didnt actually do much to change the game."

overall buy the base version for windows xp/7. maybe windows 10 since i havent tested it on there. as far as i know it may work for most systems (it worked last time i checked on my laptop running windows 10, but i did nothing to the settings or controls)

TLDR:
it doesnt work well for windows 7 that much
