I get a lot of random friend invites (an unintended consequence of having a high Steam level). Because I prefer to keep a small friends list, I don't usually accept many invites. If you have a very high level (300+) or lots of games (1500+), I'll probably accept. I do not accept requests from users with VAC or trade bans. For all other requests, leave a comment below with the reason you are adding me. If I don't accept, it's nothing personal.

Warning: You will be blocked and/or reported if you post comments with any of the following: phishing/scam links, unsolicited trade offers, stupid ASCII memes, advertisements for your group/website/whatever, or things like "+rep" (if I have never interacted with you). I also automatically block accounts that are level 10 or less. And finally, I am not trading or selling any of my TF2 items, so don't add me for that reason.

About Me

I've been playing games since the late 70s, and have owned nearly every major console from the Atari 2600 through last generation, though my favorite platform has always been the PC. I also like collecting stuff, such as items in TF2 and badges in Steam. I am also one of the few Steam users to have full-XP badges for every event before the new profile system was implemented in 2013: completed all 28 achievements in the Great Steam Treasure Hunt, collected all 36 potatoes in the Portal 2 ARG (and friends with "Dinosaur"), collected all 76 tickets in the Steam Summer Camp, completed all 78 achievements in the 2011 Steam Holiday Sale, and completed all the tasks in the 2012 Summer and Holiday Sales. I was also one of the 2014 Golden Holiday Profile owners.

Badge Collecting

As of April 2015, I am officially retired from collecting every released game badge. Prior to that date, my goal had been to collect every non-foil trading card game badge, and that goal was successful. However, what was once a fun collection project became extremely tedious, and no longer fun. The rate at which games are released on Steam is now completely out of hand, and most have trading cards. It just takes too much time and expense to keep up with everything now, and I'd rather spend those resources on other things. It was a good run, though. Fun fact: To my knowledge, I believe I am the highest level Steam user that got there without completely abusing any of the Holiday Sale infinite badge level "loopholes". So all in all, I did end up with a pretty decent collection, which is... something? I guess? I still craft some badges here and there, but for the most part, I'm now officially out of the "100%" game.
