So I played Helldivers 2 for a bit over 100 hours. I'm level 40-something and in the early days, enjoyed it. The soundtrack and atmosphere is some of the best I've seen in gaming in a long time. The cooperative experience and community has been wholesome and genuinely fun. I've met some wonderful people just playing with randoms all to fight for democracy.

The armor styles are somewhat generic with obvious attempts to resemble other IPs (Which was excusable), The guns are fun but unreliable since Arrowhead keeps changing what they can do, and progression kind of stalls in the late game as it becomes a grind in higher difficulties to get Samples.

All of that said, this is a game built by humans that thrives by humans. This is the greatest community force in history. That is NOT Hyperbole. If you want to be a part of gaming history too, then play Helldivers 2.

Suffice it to say, they fixed it. It's better now. If only they had released this game in this state.

Easily one of the funnest and most addicting games I've ever had the pleasure of playing! Such an amazing game, so well refined in terms of class balance, and an absolute delight to play.
