I never thought I'd see the day where rule 34 artists care about a game more than the developers, on top of that, you know your monetization system is downright predatory when people start begging for loot boxes to be brought back.

Stay away, your time is better spent jacking off to the porn, you'll have a way better experience than playing this shell of a once amazing game. It's insane how much corporate greed and Blizzard's broken promises absolutely destroyed this sorry excuse for a sequel.

Do you like save scumming every ten seconds?

Do you like extremely repetitive enemies?

Do you like frustrating and unintuitive gameplay?

If so, Dead Money is for you!

I really wanted to enjoy this game, I loved To The Moon and Finding Paradise, but I honestly can't recommend this one. There isn't much actual gameplay, only a handful of times will you take control of the boy, the rest is just an extended cutscene. The story is fine, but the pacing is unbearably slow.

IMO you're better off just playing the other Freebird games.

Celeste is without a doubt the best platformer I've ever played.

I've died around 6,000 times but I never felt frustrated or cheated, I can't really explain what it is but the game feels so good to play, to the point where other platformers feel slow and punishing in comparison. There is also an emotional story about Madeline that covers her inner struggles with depression, but for those who don't care for the story, it never feels overbearing because the main attraction of Celeste is always the outstanding gameplay. Oh yeah, the soundtrack also fantastic, thanks Lena (and all the composers on the B-sides, Celestial Resort in particular slaps).

Definitely recommend playing with a controller!

Also, Chapter 9 is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nightmare. This single level is the hardest thing I've ever done in any video game. Upon completing it, you either transcend to speedrunner status or have a severe case of arthritis, most likely both will happen.

This game is pretty much The Last of Us 2 reversed:

Critics hate it
Fans love it
