In my opinion Nightreign is a great game ;) I enjoy playing it solo just as much as I do playing it with friends ( though I havent tried it with randoms yet).

Should there be Duo? Yes of course! But it doesnt make the game itself worse just because they didnt include that possibility yet :)

"This Game is to different from what FromSoftware Games should be like"! Is that a bad thing??? They tried something new and smaller but the Gameplay still feels like a Soulslike just a bit more compact, and there is still an Interesting Story to discover ( though I dont know yet how "long" those Memory Stories will last).

"They are just reusing old assets from Eldenring and other Soulsgames! This is a cheap money grab!"
To create a game is much more than just sticking some assets together, and i do love the visual style Eldenring offers! Therefor I do not see the problem here ( And for just 40€ the game is totally fine! Probs even better during a sale)

All in all I feel like People often critizise games way more than they deserve and should just start enjoying the games :P

So if you are a Fan of Hard Coop Games and you got 2 friends you want to suffer through hell with, this game is a great pickup :)
But even solo the game is challenging but not impossible. Though you might need to find one or two good relics first befor you beat the first Nightlord ^^

A great game ;) It might not be a 10/10 but i don't think a game need or can even be that perfect most of the time!
I enjoyed all 36.6 hours of the game that I needed to defeat the final boss and get the achievments that i wanted ^^

Is the game worth the 40€ price tag?
I did play worse games for that amount of money! But i would still recommend getting this game during a sale for around 25€!

All in all it is a good game with great visuals and music. The story is straight forward and does not have any suprising plot twists, but still sets a nice atmosphere during the game.

If you enjoy metrodvenia games, dark fantasy and light RPG ( interesting Talent Tree but not to complex) than you should give this game a chance ;)

I waited over 10 years for this kickstarter project to be finished and it took me another 2 years to finally give the game a try! And i must say that the experience so far is really great ;)

If you enjoy metroidvenia games and a mysterious and dark world to explore than I can say you should give this game a go!
And yes in my opinion its worth the 20 bucks you would need to spend on it.

If you are looking for a game to entertain you for around 3 hours, this might be the game for you to try ^^
And if you like speedrunning you might spend even more time on it :P

Is it worth 17€?
Some part of me says no and some says yes ;)
Its not a very long game, but it is realy well done and visually as well as music wise great.
I got the feeling that the developer wanted to create a good game and spend his fair amount of time constructing this game. Thus i feel like 17€ are a fair amount to pay.
And if the game is on sale thats even more of a reason to give it a try.

4 Hours into the game and so far I am enjoying it :)
TLDR: The price is fair and the game is fun!


It does have a few flaws in its fighting and i died a few times because of strange enemy lock-on, but that is mostly avoidable and fighting a big pack of wolves at the same time might not have been the smartest decision in the first place :P

The game got 4 difficulties to choose from and as an experience gamer the second hardest is ok for a chill and not to frustating gaming experience! ( Might change to the hardest difficulty at some point to see if that one gets closer to the "Souls" experience ;) )

Great and fun game to spend some hours screaming at your significant other :) Would yell at her again!

The game got potential :)
While the basics are nothing new or world changing ( draw and play cards similar to Slay the Spire), the twist in gameplay makes it feel different.

It might need more time to be the gem it can be. But I am optimistic that the Devs can get there.

Played it during a free weekend with a bunch of friends and it was a lot of fun ^^ Not sure how crowded the servers will be once the free weekend ends but if you got a couple of friends and just want to play something simple and funny you should get this game ;)
