So the actual gameplay is not the same hack and slash of the previous 4 god of war games. This one is more RPG like. An amazing title and i cant wait for Ragnarok to come out on PC. The graphics, the voice acting, the scenery, the immersion, visual effects,.. I could not stop appreciating how much work went into this game. One of the few games over the past few years which i bought and didnt feel like ive wasted money.

The game is a lot more difficult to master than mortal kombat for example. I like how you get full control of your characters. each button is assigned to a certain limb. at first i found it difficult to understand the characters control due to the easy combo option which is on by default. when i turned it off it was just like tekken 5 or teken 6. the AI in this game feels a lot more punishing than in the old games, seemingly reading your inputs and punishing you before you get to do a move. when fighting against AI its more about figuring out the AI programming and tricking it or avoiding certain starters so they dont chain into like 52 combos. The game is fun, graphics are nice, story is kind of boring but they kept individual character campaigns which are a treat. they still have customisation for each character and its actually more simple than in the old games. Decent game, will revisit it from time to time untill tekken 8 is out. i just wish you could unlock some characters without paying for them but its a frequent trend in fighting games these days so i guess i dont mind. if i was an active tekken player i would buy them but for now i see no need. so i cannot really comment on any paid content

So the game itself is quite fun once you get the hang of it.
as a beginner i found it difficult to understand the fatality ranges and combo input timing at first, watched a few guides on youtube and went into training mode for a while to figure out some of the moves. Each character works differently so you gotta sort of pick a ''main'' and stick with it. i felt like the story mode is there to give you a taste of most of the characters available in the game. Completing towers is quite fun, campaign is alright but as a new player i found it difficult to care about the story. i had no idea what was happening so i found myself skipping about 80% of the cutscenes. All in all its a decent game but needs time to master some of the mechanics. Its a little chaotic with how many throwables and stuff there are.

The game itself is ok. The story is hard to give a sh*t about. Cringe version of Forza 5 with a hood twist.... or wanna be hood twist... feels like someone is trying to force some half chav dialogues in the story, its quite terrible to be honest.
Music is trash... mute and play spotify bro. Car handling is terrible at the start. Rubber banding is present as a lazy way to make the game feel more 'challenging'. Traffic will magnet towards you to mess you up on purpose

I bought this at 80% discount so i cant be mad. If i paid the full price i would refund within the first 15minutes

Greedy company which already gave people headaches with how many micro transactions there are. i quit this game when i realised that all they care about is pushing a new heirloom every 2nd month of the year instead of fixing anti-cheat and mathchmaking. They also removed arenas and added those crappy mini games. It was already a donation fest back then. What was decent at least was the battle pass system. You could buy a battle pass once and then as long as you complete the battle pass missions you could guarantee yourself enough apex coins to buy the next battle pass. obviously
now these money hungry trash bots decided to remove that option all together and just make it into an extra donation. greedy greedy greedy EA and im glad i quit this crap before i spent too much money on it. For a crappy indie company they expect too much for way too little. So far im glad i spent my money and time on other games which bring me way more satisfaction than this crap fest.

Todd has been milking this for the past 10+ years and i can totally see why.
After 10years this game is still 10/10 especially with mods.
