I had a minor complaint, and the mods of this game banned me for posting it.

The complaint was:

It's very annoying for the map to open an unskippable cutscene every single time you make a new run. I thought this was a very valid criticism, and at this stage of the game- I felt like anything to improve the core gameplay loop would be a welcome change that could make sure that this is a great successor to HLD.

Well apparently the mods or devs of this game are not open to criticisms or complaints about their software, so they banned me from the public discord of their game. I will now be expressly suggesting to my friends (irl and steam) that these devs should not be supported and their other products should not be bought nor played.

There is a bit of grinding to be done, but I am a big fan of the roguelike tower defense genre. It's hard at first but once you get the synergies you look for, its like magic.

How is this game still in early access? Season 5? It's been pretty much the same thing for 2 years since the alpha dropped. At least wizard was powerful back then- they gimped the class hard after the third playtest and it has never been a fun class ever since.

Seriously, a class that drains life and uses life to cast infinite spells, can wear medium armor, and uses the messer.... or a class who's fireballs don't even 3 shot people anymore. It's kinda dumb when you think about it.

"The skill ceiling though..!" stop coping dude they nerfed wizard into the ground and made 3 classes that do everything better just to spite all the players who said rangers are overpowered.

Waste of my time and money. Hellscape mode is unplayable and nobody plays the multiplayer.

Edit: Dev said that hellscape is by design unfair but that only really cements my opinion that there should be a different mechanic than simply "enemy stat go up"

Users with thousands of hours spend irl money on the game and use it to harass strangers to make sure they don't play the game.

Contacted staff and got no response, which makes sense because the game hardly has 100 active players. It's just unfortunate a good game concept is ruined by people who like to abuse others.

You need to equip items to get certain other items

Always when I have a good run the game will freeze or alt-tab me and somehow lock the S key and make nothing work. So annoying. So much time wasted because of bugs ruining my gameplay. Very sad to think I have been enjoying this game at cinder 16 only to have all my favorite runs destroyed by random glitches.

You need to select all of the challenges in order to get high scores on the leaderboard, but the wave 1 for these modes are wildly inconsistent in difficulty. Some weapons are completely useless early game and when put against the enemies with insanely high health, there is just no reason to play certain seeds in this game

you cant go in solo anymore because everybody is just playing with their clans. the game is not fun anymore.

The movement mechanics in this game are too clunky for how complex the debuff system is. Half the enemies will lagspike to hit you and when they hit you it almost always applies a movement speed debuff.
This game could be good, but I doubt the devs will be focusing on making combat feel more fluid and rewarding.
