So, after the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a launch yesterday, i manage to play today. and here is the honest review.

The controls on this sim a awful. setting up controls is just a headache and a complete mess. flying is to twitchy and over sensitive on aircraft no matter no matter what you change.

Don't fall for the trailers that Microsoft put out, the reality is id does not look like that at all. sky looks washed out, airports look deserted and just prefab buildings, no life to them (like the trailer showed) sim look and feels plastic, nothing like 2020 with the latest addons.

After buying 2020 deluxe on release the stock planes where crap After a year i never touched them due to better freeware or payware addons been released. This time i decided to just get the standard edition because of 2020. i' m glad i did because the only one worth flying on here is the A330. The Max 8 flies crap and the others i just dont care about.

My biggest gripe on this game is the streaming. I fly in VR and even that is just Meh. but watching your plane load textures after changing views, textures not even loading sometimes, fuzzy textures, performance drop outs for no reason just kills this game and immersion in VR.

The bugs on this are just as bad as 2020 that will never get fixed. What is worse Asobo lied saying that "oh yeah the wipers wipe away rain", "physics are better".....All BS.

All in all its a serious disappointment, all catered for XBOX with the BS streaming which i hope they change because it will kill this sim in the long run. This game.. i can't even call it a sim is just honestly a waste of money, don't fall for Asobo sales ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ saying they look after the core simmers. Because what we have seen so far proves otherwise. look at this game in at least 2 years, if streaming has not killed it before then.

If you seriously want buy this game, don't by on steam because of there stupid refund policy.

This game is utter crap. Bugs after bugs with every update. Hand crafted airports are ♥♥♥♥♥. flight dynamics and plane bugs are just ridiculous and the performance patch made this worse with bad looking waves and clouds and load at distance and height textures looking like FS2002. Save your money. I wasted 119 on this and the base game is not worth what they ask. They way this GAME as going it will end up like FLIGHT. Even the airliners are a joke in this game. It's no where near a simulator.

Great game especially in VR

No DVD or Blu ray play back. youtube is restricted so much that you can only watch movie trailers but no music videos etc. nice design but a complete waste of time and money. You will be let down if you buy it, trust me. Look elsewhere!

Waited ages for this simulator. Downloaded it in the hopes that the reports of bad optimisation would be fixed. Starting it up , it seems that nothing has been optimised at all. fast pc and even on low settings the FPS was less than 9 i bad weather. Total waste of time imo. You will soon get bored of one route too. Don't waste your money. All ready applied for a refund! Won't be buying anymore DTG Games if this is what we can expect.
