Please fix the insane "input lag" when moving around/attacking/interacting with menus when playing online with friends. PoE 1 didn't have this issue and it makes playing with others almost impossible. (Also please fix it so you can't collide with other players)

Incredibly repetitive and boring endgame, most uniques and set items are useless unless you have a very specific kind of build that utilizes them, incomplete but interesting story that ends abruptly. Endgame revolves around you running random maps with the same enemies and bosses scaled up to higher levels in hopes that you find that one exalted item that completes your build so you can do arenas and dungeons at the max level. Better off playing Path of Exile/Diablo/Grim Dawn/literally anything with a more interesting endgame. 1.0 didn't get any more content than early access. I'll change my review when they decide to expand on the endgame.

This game honestly feels like a shameless copy of Starcraft 2.
The human faction has extremely similar voice lines to the Terrans.
Humans play exactly like Terrans with a couple differences
Infernals play exactly like the Zerg with a couple differences
Has the same marketing for co-op as SC2 except you only get one free character.
The resource gathering is exactly the same
The map layouts are exactly the same
The UI is almost a direct copy (except they moved/shuffled it around.
A lot of the same units with different models.

Other cons:

The pathing is actually atrocious. It's bad, like really really bad. Units constantly cut each other off. Seeing as they took so much inspiration from Starcraft 2 it's kinda weird they didn't nail the pathing like SC2 did.
Animations and other effects have no weight behind them. Everything feels very bland.

It really sucks they couldn't separate themselves enough from Blizzard and StarCraft 2.

Game honestly feels worse in every way compared to 5 and 4.1. Classes feel worse, 70% of the game is set in the missions you already completed in EDF 5, Air Raider and Fencer got screwed balance wise, feels like you're forced even more into using the same loadouts, horrible desync if you play online, glitchy weapons like grenades that don't go where you throw them. Avoid this and play 5/4.1.

Shadows of Doubt is everything I have ever wanted in a game. SoD is an incredible detective game where you actually have to do the thinking for yourself. The case board UI is incredible and so flexible in ways that allow you to pin information in your own unique way. However that's where my compliments end. It has been just over a year since this game released into Early Access and it is still riddled with bugs.

* Fingerprints still have a chance to infinitely create new fingerprint types, making it impossible to track down the killer.
* Bodies still sometimes glitch into walls or the floor
* Killers still have no true motive (everybody is a serial killer)
* Fingerprints still aren't placed in realistic locations (the same door will have 10 fingerprints for the same person. Why are there so many? And sometimes not even on the doorknob)
*Arriving too early at a crime scene will sometimes cause the AI to freak out and run around in circles.
* The AI will sometimes get permanently stuck in a loop of moving furniture or turning on and off light switches

There are also some aspects of the game that don't make sense to me at all.

* You receive a murder case from the city hall, but the police won't let you investigate. This means the police and city hall don't work together? How does the government even function?
* City Hall keeps a data base on every single person in the city. You can simply walk to a computer and get information on every single person in the city. Shouldn't this be a tightly secured area?
* Employment Contracts keep WAY too much personal info on people that it shouldn't.
* There are no jails.

I *really* wish the devs had made more of an effort in letting me know about the morality and philosophical nature of this game. If they had, I would have gotten this game so much earlier. Dread Delusion has some of the most fascinating and engaging world building of any game I've ever played. If this game had better combat and AI, I would recommend it to everybody. Unfortunately every single enemy (including the final boss) can be kited very easily.

If gameplay matters to you more than or just as much as the story, I would pass on it. But if the idea of getting into a well crafted world with lots of really interesting lore is enough to keep you engaged then I highly recommend it.

My only real complaints besides the combat/AI would be one of the quests that are bugged (which the dev is working on fixing)

imo a 9/10.

Got dragged into an area that you cannot leave until you kill all the bosses of said area
3 of my party members are turned into zombies
Didn't get the chance to stock up on holy water as I was dragged into the zone against my will.
Impossible to cure zombie any other way.
Zone does not have any merchants to buy the item that stops zombie.
Game is officially softlocked.

What a great game. The worst FF game.

Good game but difficulty ramps up out of nowhere. Consider turning on the x4 exp multiplier when you get stuck.
