Space Marine 2 is a genuine return to form for the games industry and it truly feels like it was made to be fun first and foremost rather then just making money on an established IP. It plays just like games that came out over a decade ago with QOL improvements and the smoothness of (good) modern titles, meaning its actually fun and finished and polished even when it dropped. (even the pre-order early access only had some minor server hiccups)

The only issues is that "low" graphics in this game are last years "high" settings, despite that it still runs decently well on my machine even with my half decent hardware, and that some weapons in pvp feel just abit over tuned. oh that and the assault marine feels much worse to play in comparison to the first game, just really stilted and not nearly as fluid and fun.

If you aren't confident you can run the game on your hardware I would hold off but otherwise this is personally my game of the year, and i wish to see more devs get the freedom to make actual quality games like this one again.
