I've been the biggest anime fan ever since the original running of Courage the Cowardly Dog, but sadly I can't say they handled the source material correctly. Courage has been replaced by animeme girls with big breasts, which is very close, except Courage is neither a girl nor has large breasticles. It greatly dissapointed me when they replaced Muriel with two big strong black men, which is very close, but Muriel is neither black nor strong. Eustace has been accurately represented by the skeleton man but they forgot his hat, which was a great embarassment to the entire franchise. Hopefully with the new dubbed version of Courage the Cowardly Dog coming to the West, we can expect a more polished game that accurately represents the source and what the fans want. For every Courage fan, I'm sorry to say this isn't the game for you.
