Much better than folks make it out to be?

The story is actually pretty great because your player character FINALLY comments on things and that makes the game really refreshing and engaging narrative wise.

Its a game that has been in development for 7 years. The amount of content in this game as an Action RPG alone is pretty spectacular. If you love First Person Shooters and Action RPG elements this game is a must have.

Most importantly the online co-op works flawlessly and I highly suggest playing with a friend. The new Cooperative shared loot game mode makes the game so much more fun to play. No more fighting over loot.

You could say the main story is a flaw but I think its probably the best in the series by virtue of how dense the plot arcs are. You always feel involved and focused. The constant array of jokes land decently and less overtly memey and more in the same tier of funny adult animation.

In total, its a great deal on sale, even for 50 dollars for the super Deluxe Edition. The DLC adds quite a lot of content to this game and both so far are the same quality as the main campaign so I have high hopes for more in the future.

The ONLY bad thing I can say is that, much like the other Borderlands games, the interface is still not 100% PC compatible with the mouse? Lotta weird quirks. Obviously made with a gamepad in mind with not much optimization toward mouse clicks.
