Steer well clear of this game for now. Massive improvements needs to be made to the matchmaking and solo play, at this time you can only play online and the matchmaking to join or even host your own game is very problematic. If you try to make an invite only or friends only game, it takes a very long time for the game instance to be created, or it may not create one for you at all. Out of the 2.5 hours of playtime for this game, only around 10 minutes have been heisting, as I've only been lucky enough to host one game for myself while the other attempts are either timing out or not working for some strange reason.

It is a shame, as the game itself looks very fun, but at this current stage it is unplayable. Do not buy until this very nasty issue is resolved.

Fun game to get into, but way too many crashes, just beware of that when buying this game. The game may not be for you.

This War of Mine is a masterpiece of a game, mostly in storytelling and survival. I've played this game for nearly a good 2 years and have spent quite a lot of time on it, honestly it is one of the best games I have played. The game gets you to control a few civilians trying to survive a war in a city called Porogen, a city now where Soldiers, Rebels and Civilians are in a constant battle in order to stay alive, some will be helpful, others won't, some will ask for your help, others will help you, so on. When you start a game, you have to wait an unknown amount of days till the war ends (it's random unless you created a custom story), you'll have to create furniture, workbenches and other items to help you survive, you will need to scavenge for supplies each night (you can stay inside if you want to) and ration food in order to get to the end of the war.

Soon, you'll come across random events and have to loot more dangerous areas, making the game harder as you go on, so you will need to use your supplies wisely in those times. Once you have made it to the end of the war, the game ends, in the ending screen you will see the epilogue of all the characters you have met, their endings will depend on how well you survive so remember to try and make the right decisions to keep them alive and happy.

That's the game in short, it's a great game and you should definitely try it out, it doesn't cost that much and the DLC that comes with the game is also very good, including the War Child DLC in where you donate money to children living in cities and towns affected by war.

I give the game 9/10, it does have it's flaws at times, but it is certainly a game that I will always remember.
