OWI once again updated the graphics without any optimization just like Squad, Used to have 60 fps on medium settings I barely get 30 fps on low...

Changed to recommended as of 3/31/24 recent updates made the game playable at constant 60 fps on decent settings again.

Recommended settings should be the minimum. I meet all requirements but have to play on lowest settings with 30 fps. Game has no optimization at all. Wanted to play a good successor to project reality but it helicopters move at 1fps and it stutters a bunch, no combination of settings will fix it either.

early access was amazing and all that

until they changed the camera angle and the sort
the game is still good but i literally cringe whenever i see the camera angle
they had no reason to change it
why


not to mention the horrifying DLC for the game
- ayy heres a tank DLC you can make in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ editor in 20 minutes at very least
- ayy you also have to buy the campaigns for the game
enjoy if its even possible

First off, I love the mow series, the first game, assault squad, vietnam, all of them.

Alot of people say this is the exact same game as as1, and really, it is pretty much the same, but many game mechanics were changed, which is good. They took some really important features out of this game, but they added good mod support, to correct these problems. I like this game, but it is really similar to as1 with not enough differences, which I dont like, I really only recommend this game if you havent played as1, or are new to the series.

And with the maps, there are VERY good new maps which I absolutely adore, but in some of them, I realized there is no versatility, no game-changing things, and it gets almost robotic, for example, im USA facing Japan, the enemy player sends a kamikazi, sneaks through all of my lines, and then takes out my sherman jumbo. Im spooked, and then reinforce my lines and everything, but within that few seconds of attempting to strengthen my lines, the enemy player attacks with elite infantry and light tanks, which I cant counter because of my jumbo gone, and I lose the game because of one kamikazi. I just dont see that anymore in as2, atleast, not often enough, and that a major flaw in this game for me, making me at times really frustrated.

It's okay.

Also gave me PTSD.

The only flaw I see in this game is the fact that I cannot shoot my men who retreat.
