- PVE: Extremely repetitive after the first few hours, but that's normal and some people will not mind. However, it's absolutely not challenging. It's quite pointless to farm PVE for better gear, since you can clear all content easily with the most basic setups.
- PVP: Extremely flawed, the only thing that matters is how many people your group has, how many alts you made to farm resources or lock down servers and how hard you can exploit scenario flaws and mechanics. Skill will not make a difference.
- No Western/Central EU servers: EU servers are 90% Russian, so get used to rude insults in Cyrillic in world chat, racism, exploiting and cheating. I have nothing against Russians, but this has been my experience, consistently, in all the seasons I played so far.

Game is fun, looks great and plays extremely well for being Early Access.
A somewhat accurate summary would be: "Dark and Darker, but much more polished".

And about the negative reviews... People whining about losing their stuff to better/more geared players should not be playing full-loot PvP games.

Having a lot of fun so far, scratching the survival itch in ways neither Palword nor Enshrouded did!

The crafting is simply amazing! Never seen such an in-depth approach to it, you can really, really customize all your gear, not only for looks, but also for stats. Even consumables and ammo will be different base on the resources you use to craft them.

Refunded. Worst looking U5 game I tried yet, all the old gamebreaking bugs, meshing, cheating and issues that plagued ASE. I'd rather play ASE over this, if anything, for all the added content.

This might be the exact same review I wrote for the first game, but Dark Souls with guns? I'm in!
And this is even better than Remnant 1. Get it, thank me later.

Nice game. I see all sorts of comments about representation, but imagine "saving" wild beasts by capturing them and selling them to a pet shop. Cmon...

If you're having FPS drops, just disable:
SSAO
Motion Blur
Depth of Field

You can also lower anything that has to do with lighting, shadows and reflections.

Twice as hard as dark souls, since you only have one free hand to play with.

My reasons for downvoting are:

Predatory freemium p2w mechanics
The game is full of artifacts to slow down your progress and push you to purchase premium currency, including leaderboards to create a sense of competition.
Stay away if you have problems with gambling or managing your dopamine levels.
Rank 1 player in Korea claims that he spent 700k $ in 1 year, that there are unfillable DPS gaps between paying and non paying players (via skins that boost your stats) and that a f2p player needs to play 5 hours a day to be competitive: https://youtu.be/_8_kHtaXy8o?t=2857

Boring gameplay, cluttered UI and clunky combat
I honestly don't understand all the hype... If people itched for yet another grindy and greedy p2w Korean AOE spam fest, they could go play BDO which at least doesn't look and feel like a mobile game. All it misses, in my eyes, is an auto-play button.

Unreliability of AGS
Bad launch / server management by AGS (2 games in a row eh...). I played 1000+ hours of New World and can say, without a doubt, that they're completely unreliable, don't communicate with the community and make changes without considering negative implications.
