I'm not the biggest Assassin's Creed player, but I've been thinking of playing one of the games in the last couple months, and so I checked out the games and Odyssey stood out for me because of it's theme for the most part. Not gonna lie I wasn't familiar with the new step of AC games so I was 50/50 about it, but once I started playing the game I couldn't stop playing it. The story is very greatly built up, the side missions are very important on your path as well and don't make you feel lazy to do, plus the combat is flexible depending on what weapon you want to choose to use, plus on top of that you can also upgrade your weapons & armor and as well wear the skin of a weapon/armor you have but use the stats of another if you don't like how it looks on you. The DLC expansions pay off because they offer a very big amount of hours of gameplay, if you haven't a clue about the DLC-s before playing yourself, there'll be moments when you'll be thinking "Oh so its done, I've finished it" you'll realize you actually didn't and there's still more to play for. Genuinely one of the greatest games I've ever played personally and I'd recommend it to anyone, even on full price it is 100% worth it.
ONE THING TO REMEMBER: Choices that you make in some specific missions MATTER for how the story builds up later on as you progress.
