Liked the psychological horror experimentation and post game let loose gameplay design. alot of problems from main game community had were changed for the better, game looks amazing and ran great on my playthrough.

You get to have your own canon dc OC and it's done better than sonic forces, no cloud saves so you're gunna have to manually backup your saves. RIP OC

No steam deck support. The game in it's self isn't bad but every one of the 3 games added from battle net crashes on startup and says to scan and repair. I've tried troubleshooting to fix it but no changes and my battle net copies launch fine.

If you liked fallout 4 then imagine being able to play with friends, more open base building, and better RPG combat mechanics and you've got Fallout 76. It contains 3 main quest and over 4 years of free update content in side quest, events, weapons, and armor. If you hate microtransactions they do exist in this game in mostly cosmetics while the subscriptions service gives the biggest gameplay advantages but mostly quality of life as apose to giving you straight up boost and grind work around. Alot of the endgame weapons and content is very grindy to get to and as mentioned before there's no way to buy and cheese your way to it. There are small advantages you can buy but they all serve group efforts and usually get used at public events to help random people for free. This is a bethesda game so do expect some jank from update to update and unintentional bugs caused from fixes in the latest update. The game is constantly being worked on and updated by 2 development studios and has been stated that theyre constantly planning 3 years in advance for free content updates and dlc. If you like fallout and want to be able to play with friends then give this game a shot, it has vastly improved over its terrible launch and don't let that discourage you.

For anyone curious about steam deck performance, it runs well most of the time hovering at 30-45 fps at low fsr2.0 on auto. There are 2 major issues that'll probably be patched out later. During game play when you move into a new area the game will hitch from shader compilation and freeze for a few seconds but never crashes and doesn't hitch again while you're in that area. issue 2 is if you pull up the map the game just crashes, this will most definitely get patched out later whether it's proton or ea. Other than that the performance in the beginning sequence is spotty and don't let that dictate the performance of the rest of the game. This is a very playable game on the steam deck especially for a newer title that's next gen exclusive and even at lowest settings looks leagues better than the original 2008 release.

Very enjoyable horror experience and story, very difficult game even on easiest difficulty. played on steam deck and doesn't run well but i was patient enough and enjoyed it.
