If this isn't a direct downgrade of CSGO, then I don't know what is.

Lots of people were hyped for the Source2 update(it's not like cs fanbase is known for its intelligence), and in the end we got something that is worse than Global Offensive in all aspects.

First off, terrible optimisation.
This is the first game that actually made me clear my pc case from having 10 year old dust(2) inside of it, because of how sh%tty the game runs, and that didn't even help. Low framerates, regular freezes(especially when there's an enemy behind corner) is something I had to get used to, even on worst graphical settings with minimal amount of background apps etc.
You may blame my pc, but there's another issue which happens to some of my friends too, whom have far better PCs than I do. And I'm talking about crashes, or rather times when game freezes permanently and I have to blindly open command prompt and kill the game proccess from there, because the frozen game get stuck on my screen on top of everything including the task manager(thanks to window10). These crashes always happen either when a round ends, or when someone dies. Every time I play a premier match, there's always atleast one time when I'll crash and will have to go through killing the game proccess, launching it again, seeing the lame-ass cheesy intro that covers the whole main menu, including the RECONNECT button for several seconds and only then I can get back into the match.

Secondly, downgrades in terms of content.
Whoever defends the entire idea of switching to Source2, because "SORS1 IS TOO LIMITED FOR CSGO WE NEED BETTER ENGINE" can go eat a huge pile of sh&t, because we got far less content than CSGO had, at even worse perfomance. Some maps were cut, most gamemodes weren't even present at CS2 release and some of them still remain cut(Where's Danger Zone now, when source2 has increased map limits and stuff, huh?), nearly all map-specific playermodels were cut and put behind a paywall instead. They also added pointless "loadout" system, which basically limits the range of weapons you can buy, instead of having access to the whole weaponry of the game, and that's about it.
Demo replays are half-broken. You can't replay a specific round from a watch-tab, it always starts replay from very beginning. There is also a viewmodel bug that was never present in csgo demos. Achievements are just gone.(haha, who needed them anyways, am i right fellas?) And don't even get me started about the community servers(they're gone)

Thirdly, cheaters.
I know this problem's been there for many years, but for some reason Volvo made a great decision to remove the Overwatch system, which was the only measure to get rid of shameless cheaters, when VAC couldn't do it. As result, I get into matches where enemies just shoot me through smokes and don't even bother hiding the fact they're cheating, because only VAC might catch them now and reports seemingly don't matter.

Also I'm glad to know they replaced meaningless ranks with even more meaningless number rating system. The only thing still holding me in this game is the fact that cases are not as worthless as they used to be, and I can actually get money to buy a far better game than this.

I wish all Source2 defenders a happy life in a meatgrinder. Aside from that, I'm looking forward for the day when Classic Offensive fully comes out on Steam so I can permanently switch to that one instead.

I can say with all certainty that this has to be played with friends, or atleast you need to be lucky enough to find good randoms to play with.(The ones I had so far were fine to play with)
Yeah, you can get mods to make the solo game less hard and all, but it's still not gonna make it really fun for you, because all fun in this game comes from its coop part.
Proximity chat is probably the most polished feature of this game. Hearing your friends scream for help is priceless and with all audio filters this game does it's even better. People's voices are muffled when they're underwater or get a headhumper sitting on them.
I like the way this game makes you take risks by going deeper into the facility, because you have to gather garbage and meet quota or your entire run is over, but at the same time you lose everything if the whole party dies, and there's almost no way to be fully safe from enemies.
Even if you're that guy staying in the ship while others do the hard work, you still might get your butt eaten by a blind dog after it randomly decided to enter the ship.
My opinion of the game is likely to be biased, because I enjoy playing almost anything with my friends in general, but I suppose Lethal Company fulfills its purpose as a solely Co-op game very well.

I honestly wish that the dev will keep adding new features to the game. Emphasis on the word "features", because even though the game is nice, it still has great potential, which exceeds the line of just adding more enemies or items. Though, I'd still love to see more content like new moons to explore, perhaps new facilities and enemies. Dev mentioned they're gonna make updates exciting for old players to come back to, so I can only hope for that.

All in all, if you've got a pack of friends who like to scream in a mic, this game's for you, especially if you've got some video recording software.

This game can give you quite interesting multiplayer experience, it's like R6:Siege, but more stealthy, goofy and not bloated with tons of crap.
You have several gadgets: sensor detector, bombs which don't kill, but only ragdoll enemies making them defenseless for few seconds, and the spy-camera like in swat4 which allows you to check every corner, although enemies can see the half-transparent stick of it. That and also few grenade types and other misc gadgets, like the funny banana peel.
Guns on the other hand are very simple and there's only few of them in the game, all pretty much usable.

What I like about the game is the occasional goofiness, especially when you're playing with people who make funny screams in proximity chat when dying. There's definitely plenty of fun you can get playing aroudn with gadgets.

On the downside, I don't quite like the competitive leaning of the game. Game devs do tournaments and stuff, hence there's a bunch of clans, all of which aim to be best players in the game. That's where we start seeing tryhards and what-we-call-em-in-my-country "cybercutlets" whose only goal is to win the round or do sick frags for their tiktok edits, therefore ruining other people's fun, so watch out.

Not overly simplified and weird like CS, but also not overcomplicated like Siege either, aside from that the game is pretty much what it says it is.
