The devs constantly nerf good ways to progress early game making it more and more difficult and grindy to get started. I should be rewarded for running across the continent to sell a load of horses but nope, nerfed.
Theres 3 activities to do early game to progress, fight worthless bandits that arent challenge in the slightest, fight SUPER REPETITIVE arena battles for MINISCULE renoun reward, or trade, which again the devs are constantly changing and nerfing it.

Had a LOT of fun early game with just trading and hitting arenas along the way but now, you cant profit. Released way too early with half the skills on the skill tree not ACTUALLY doing what they say.

Great game that is incredibly complex with a steep learning curve. The game rewards your first few matches with enough ingame currency to buy MOST of the mechs in the game. Most people make the mistake of getting an assault. I found I truly enjoy light mech scouting and flanking. I highly reccomend trying the trial mechs to find what gameplay style best suits you.

REVIEWS WERE POSITIVE BEFORE THE SALE! 90% Of the negative reviews are kids butthurt cause mommy lost 20 dollars on a game we all knew would go on sale early.

THANK you Rockstar for giving us 20% off a week after steam release! Making a lot of us smarter shoppers very happy!

Early Access Review
One of the only games in the last few YEARS to peak my interest. Squad was so slow in early development that i lost interest in that game really quickly. Hell Let Loose came out for a free weekend and then went on sale right after. I never bought it, and regret it to this day. Is it worth 30 bucks? Probably yeah! But being as core gameplay can change after early access I always recommend waiting for a sale (Which I am currently, frustraitingly doing)

Refunded after 4 hours. Even on the easiest difficulty I cant take France as Germany with battles ending in losses against 6 battalion armies, when attacking with well supplied, trained, and armor backed 20 battalion standing armies. DLC is pure moneygrabbing for ♥♥♥♥ that should be included with the game anyway. AI have minds of their own, and are absolutely retarded unless you micromanage the hell out of them. This game is NOTHING like any RTS I have ever played. The animations are stupid, walking in place among other things. Honestly its absolute trash. Depressing honestly, has potential to be a great RTS.

Edit: Due to steams ♥♥♥♥♥♥ refund rules, I couldn't refund it. So i watched hours or tutorial videos, got combat down, but even winning it wasn't fun! The map turns into a massive cluttered mess. Frame drops on my 1080Ti Troops doing the total opposite of what they are ordered to do. Paratroopers are a great concept but for the life of me, couldn't get them to drop, even after watching 4 tutorials and doing exactly as they said. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game was such a waste of time and money. VERDICT stands. Game sucks.

I have about 30+ hours in the game. I will update as more information becomes available to me.

This game is a mixture of Elder Scrolls, The Witcher and For Honor. I bought this game with a bit of skeptisizm because a lot of youtube videos I watched said "Wait for Sale." Now let's be fair here, the game just left early access upon writing this, and release bugs are inevitable.

The game is set in the early 1400's following a preset, semi-customizable player (AKA: The Witcher). The walkthrough is very long, 3-4 hours long infact before you are able to do side quests and stray from the path the game sets you. During this walkthough you are choosing core stats based on how you wish to play the game. Once combat is reached, you notice right away that the combat is very simular to For Honor and mount and blade. With mouse directional swings and blocks and clunky/hard to use combos. I am a bit biased as I never really cared for that type of combat. However the speech and voice overs are extremely well done. You will not be talking your way out of a witnessed murder with guards for example unless your stats are rediculiously high and your player thinks up an amazing excuse. For example "I was sent by Sir Radzig for a secret mission!" will only fly if you can justify Sir Radzig's presense in the area. Let's get into Pro's and cons:

Pros:
1: Variable quests, If you fail a part of a quest, there are numerious options to continue. For example if you do not follow your quest giver to the next part, they will continue without you. I went to sell some trash out of my inventory and my leige was ANGRY at me for not following him instead, but was given an option to interview survivors of the failed portion of the quest, to get back on track and find the bandits.
2: Enthralling story.
3: GREAT cutscenes and voiceovers.
4: Combat was done right, challenging. Guards are NOT super human, you can fight them.
5: Horse movement is realistic, until you run into a collision bush or rock. (More in Cons)
6: Level of detail in everything is AMAZING. You can not help but to look at the countryside as you travel and speak to every NPC you run into to find those unique voiceovers I mentioned.
7: Micro Managment. You must do everything you'd expect to do back in 1400. Bathe, clean your armor and clothes, repair them. Sleep. Eat. Drink. Take care of yourself. I found myself taking baths after every major battle just to get better deals with traders and look more noble.

Cons:
1: Performance hiccups. I run a 1070 and running the game on high (Not ultra) has some various hiccups. The game has crashed once in 30 hours of gameplay. Nothing major, but I can not imagine playing with a minimal machine.
2: Loading Screens. I use an SSD and there are times when loading screens are places you would not expect. Example being: When you initiate a conversation. Almost any conversation there is a short loading screen (few seconds sometimes more) before you can dialog. Gets annoying and breaks immursion.
3: Bushes with collision. By FAR the most obnoxious thing thus far. There are three sizes of bushes in the game placed strategically throughout the world (Off roads) Small, medium, and large. Small bushes do not have collision and you can run through them. Medium and large bushes do. Running into them will cause your horse to climb up into the air and get stuck (Kind of like the Battlefield 1 horses getting stuck on walls) or worse, block you all together from proceeding until you can find your way around a throng of larger bushes (sometimes VERY large throng of them)
4: Micro Managment. This can be a pro (as it is) or a con, depending on what you prefer. It does get old having to spend all your money on repairs, replacements or baths. But has this sense of accomplishment from something as simple as a bath.
5: BUGS: From your charicter glitched on his horse, stuck unable to get off due to a bush or a fence all the way to full on game crashes and studders. THIS GAME HAS BUGS as any openworld game does upon release. I'd like to see the dev's fix the bugs and respond to feedback about them. Not game breaking but it IS immursion breaking and Immursion is most of what this game offers.

Final opinion:
This game is not for everyone. It has unique challenges and play styles. If you ever found yourself organizing your home in Elder Scrolls or wishing there was more depth and challenge to elder scrolls then maybe this is for you. If you grind through Elder Scrolls and skip diologue then you are missing 80% of what the game has to offer. Overall I would reccomend this game. Especially to a roleplayer, or someone who has great interest in For Honors combat systems. I will put more hours into it

I am a Xenophobe for wanting Chineese players with horrid pings and response times on their own deticated servers. At least according to PlayerUnknown.

Okay, because so many have been asking me in the last few hours how Thief is, I've decided to save myself the effort of repeating myself.

Skip all this? Yes I recommend this game. But there are some flaws to take into consideration.

Story: Incredibly well written and scripted scenes in a beautiful steampunk open envirement (Semi open, I'll get to that later)

Flaws: AI is incredibly stupid, If you are detected simply go into a tight space and let them stack up on eachother, cutting them down as the come at you one at a time. The voices of the guards can get confusing at times, you'll hear two voices comming from one guard.
The game loads in my opinion way too much, ruining the immursion at almost every turn.
American-British accents, so obviously scripted in Canada but based in the UK possibly?
But by far the biggest drawback is the AI. You can shoot a guard in the face from 10 feet away, the arrow riccocets off his helmet and he still has no clue where you are on the hardest diffaculty. If thats a game changer for you don't buy it.

Now, about that semi-open world. Ever played dishonored? It's like that, not like GTA or Saints Row where you go somewhere in the world and do missions in that very same world. You go to a mission start point then are teleported to a zone where there are multipul approaches to the loot you want or need. Between main missions the world is yours for the taking, quite literally. Any common areas are open and have many different homes to pilfer and conversations to overhear from the rooftops.

Positives: Amazing envirement with many aproaches to your objective. The loot system is decently well refined with a cool little collection in the clock tower between missions you can gawk at. The story is wonderful, and well written thus far. It has some oh-♥♥♥♥ moments that gets your blood pumping to be sure, definately exciting at times.

Ending opinion: Yes i recommend it, though wether or not its worth 50 bucks in the end is really up to you. Although I don't regret it, as I suspected before the release as with any other thief games, the AI is really dissapointing, but the envirement and loot system mechanics is not. It in essence is a Skyrim with working stealth mechanics and less bugs that i've noted thus far.
