I had some trouble trying to add units the normal way so I just edited the main mk1212 campaign package and added in my new units, like names, who uses them, stats etc and I just base it off the other units within their tables. I usually extract all models and textures from mk1212 model packages so I can use them in variantmesh editor. But I make sure to backup my editied MK1212 pack just in case they update the mod then steam would overwrite my edited package.

Hey man, I wanted to know how you were able to make units for MK 1212. I'm good with TWEAK in the assembly kit, and Pfm for quite a few total war games, Doing things like switching skins, editing stats and such. Yet I havn't been able to find a way to do it with MK1212. I just wanted to know how you were doing it and/or what programs you're using.

@spreo1712 You need to not have anymore than 36 mods. If you go over the limit, bugs will begin to pop up. CA enacted this in one of the updates to give their DLC more attention.
