Still early access, but the core game offers a good experience for new players and is more action packed and less mindless (compared to PoE1). Fighting mobs is actually challenging, the graphics are up to date and it's shaping up to be a great game. I do enjoy it a lot and would recommend. Keep in mind the endgame and some content is still lacking due to it being Early Access so if you want a more fleshed out and complete game - wait for official release, but if you want to jump in early to test things out and see if the game is for you - it's definitely worth sinking few hunder of hours in!

For those who played PoE1 - game is different and is more catered to those who prefer more tactiful combat rather than zooming around one-shotting things so it's not everyone's cup of tea, a lot of PoE1 players find trouble addapting to the game due to different expectations, but PoE2 is different game than PoE1. Weather you like it or not - it's for you to decide!

still is best ARPG out there, but there is too much disconnect between developer's intentions, actual implementation and player feedback. Game feels very unrewarding and any semi-deterministic progression feels like is getting turning into a slot machine. Still one of the best games I've played, but it's not the same anymore.
